The National debt, which had taken 200 years to accumulate, tripled in 8 years under Ronald Reagan. The Savings and loan crisis cost hundreds of billions of dollars in a taxpayer bailout. Also the pentagon procurement scandal where taxpayers were defrauded of billions of dollars. The HUD scandal where $60 billion dollars was defrauded from taxpayers. These were the three biggest cases of financial defrauding of taxpayers until the current disaster. Were these good things for America?

And you can say all presidencies had their pitfalls; some with more than others Carter's was all but a failure, Clinton had fewer (his retro-active tax hike in '96 was all but reprehensible), but I wonder if this is what fuels your aversion to Reagan. I admire how he handled PATCO with supreme ownage, and despite Iran-Contra, his fight against communism is all but worthy.

But it´s clear that the attribute "typical European" has only connection to the problem "language problem with English".

And this IS a typical European problem. Here ON this continent NOBODY has English as native language and the old school systems have no real answer to this problem till today. British islands are islands between North Sea and Atlantic.

The Matrix is a reflection of the homogenization of America. Think about it. The feds set the minimum wage which makes NO sense because the cost of living varies WILDLY from state to state. All of the government taxes & regulations that punish Businesses...are what has driven jobs away from our soil. When Social Security taxes go up. Jobs leave. When the Minimum Wage goes up. Jobs leave. When punitive regulations increase. Jobs leave. Reagan was right! Government is the problem. Good point. Government spending should be less frivolous. Pork pisses me off. But as spending is taking place, it's better that spent rebuilding a country and strategic ally than expanding the welfare class back here. An excellent way to decrease national debt would be to cut social spending.
