Worst mistake I ever made.... Selling my White V!! I WILL get another one when the £ recovers a little against the $... As for the 'off-white' colour?? Well, Gibson STILL use Cellulose based lacquer which naturally yellows over time. They actually don't MAKE a white guitar until they get the order for one from a dealer (I had to wait 4 months when I ordered mine!!) AND they do not offer ANY warranty on the white finish! If you want PURE white... Custom shop order!!!

well not in my perspective . . . this guitar will run you 1200 bux and if you dont say is a bit too good for someones FIRST guitar ive been playing for a year and have gone through 2 epiphones 2 jacksons and an ibanez rangina from 3-8 hundred dollars and this is by far the best ive hadbut if you want something very similer to this get the gibson Flying V Faded but i startet with a 300$ ibanez so its best to work your way up as you get beter

For as strange as this may sound, I'm saving to buy a Gibson Flying V, I'm played with a Jackson Randy Rhoads Custom and everything, but the looks of the Gib are just stunning. Plus I'm a big guy and a small V looks like a toy. I never played a Gibsson Flying V because the only store around that sells them... well the guys aren't very fond of people trying out guitars... But I know this is the guitar I want. Plus it is a Gibson, it just can't go wrong... the sound is just amaizing...

I love the V, I was in a pusic store few years ago trying some lp's and Strats, and I just tried a V for fun, basicly to seeby myself if it was playable while sitting, and I must tell you I never felt so familiar with a neck than with this one... like I 've always played it... but you should check old pictures of James Hetfield and his totally white V I still think it's better while united colored but that's my opinion

i have the same guitar...1992...its really easy to play sitting down you just gotta get used to it...i prefer it now to playing say a les paul shape sitting down. The guitar itself takes some getting used to, but it makes u just not wanna stop playing. Nice playin btw...wat amplifier do you use?
