  • Thanks to John L. from Boston's Rhinocerous, this song was my ear worm.!

  • "BRA" by Cymande next please! Great song to do the smurf to.

  • THANKS for the post!!!!!

  • Summer of '74 hanging in Jamaica Queens from DC!! CLASSIC!

  • not a re edit at all, now is it...........

  • @durangos230 Actually, if you listen closely, you'll notice the second segment of the song was repeated, making the song have four segments instead of the original three - that's what makes a re-edit... if you hadn't noticed it, play it again (and again, and again, and again...........)

@durangos230: Yes, it is a re-edit. As a matter of fact, the only thing I didn't like about the original was the fact that it was only something like 2:10 long. Still, whoever played lead on it was playing some NAYSTY (no, ding-dang it, I DON"T mean nasty, I mean NAYSTY!) geeetar!!!

  • @durangos230 That 'NAYSTY ' guitar player is my husband,Joe Jammer and he sure appreciates your appreciation! He now lives in London and says if you're ever here come to a gig would be great to meet another Runners fan!!1

  • thanks for posting this joint on here. My moms had this on 45 when I was three years old. This is also still excellent for b-boying. Whenever you hear this joint, put on a pair of Pro-keds Royal and Pro-Keds Super Royal. that also includes cornrows,an afro,stone/acid wash bellbottoms, hair straightened out,and an applejack hat. Lol.

  • Damn!!! Every time i run across this page, i get stuck on this song for at leat an hour.

  • @yusufmhassan And shout out to DJ Red Alert and all the others who keep this in heavy rotation

  • Thank you for posting this 1974 dancer classic. This single is in my way cool instrumental box and will always be part of my repertoire. I also favour their 1979 "The Bitch" vocal, from the fantastic soundtrack album from the movie of the same name - check it out!! Keep On Dancing, and Happy New Year all month long!! DAVEDJ

  • @MyJaySeven CAN U PLEASE TELL ME WHAT WAS ON THE NAME OF THE SONG THAT WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE RECORD.......

  • @tutti1331

on the other side was Do It Over by the same group.

  • @MyJaySeven and to think Do It Over was the A side that they played on the air. Then of course we then flipped it over, heard this and went "What the? DDDDDamn".

  • @Mannchild11 To use a P.E. song--B-side wins again!
