This is the problem with today's students they need things to be fun or get stickers, how lame, to learn something. Coding for a living is tedious and painful. Especially when you get into thousands of lines of code. But that is why you get paid well if you are a good programmer.

This is the kind of learning method I need.

I'm trying to learn things like AutoIt and Powershell. Someone in the AutoIt community made a fun game in AutoIt that makes it easy to learn.

The books that you get now days tell you to go to the website and get the code/examples/tests and it's really annoying.

To be fair, she said that LEARNING to program was boring, not that coding was boring. I agree, learning to code was one of the dullest classes I've had. That said, I still love to code.
