  • does it matter if you plug in the ipad and let it fully charge before you use it and then when u do the first time u let it die completely? Is that best something to do with the battery memory

  • yays thx for doing this HELPFUL video now i can play on my ipad soo much

  • Im on the toilet as I'm watching this! This is a big one!

  • yeah turning down the brightness was the first thing i did to reduce battery usage, it's simple and doesn't sound like it'd be effective, but it made my devices work for so much longer, i never even put it at a fourth of the way up

  • Great. thank you.

  • For the most part I really liked this... Thank u!

  • On Android you can get an app called ScreenFilter which will allow you to lower your brightness as low as you want it to, I wish iOS would allow apps like that its a perfect example of why iOS is not #1 anymore:( iPad 2 FTW

  • it has space for one more battery of total three joined-i bet next ipad 3 going to have 15-20 hour battery life- thats how apple do they just improve one by one not just all together-ipad 2 got thinner like that

  • really works good this works 100%

  • 9hours???? i get no less then 15 the one im on came off charge at 10 am its now 243 am and its at 16% at 50 % brite

  • IOS 4 drains it even more. Very annoying. Does anyone know how to get the usage for batter life on the ipad wifi?

  • where did you download the intro music? I know its used on the Gadget Show and is called something like 'In the Machine'. Thanks :D- great video by the way!

  • Excellent tips, great video - thank you!

  • The point is that most apps are going to need WiFi and location services... who really wants to keep on turning these on and off? And also, push Mail is something that a lot of people actually need and want. Why would you want to turn that off? ..... Nice video by the way :)

  • Do some of these advices also apply to the iPod Touch (all generations)?

  • @minimatt37 Its the same friggin OS. Do the same stuff. Adjust brightness, close apps that you dont use, and disable functions that you dont use. Spotlight, bluetooth, location services, wifi etc.

  • thanks dude :D
