The guy was in GumBall 3000 when it went through Serbia.... the cops had orders not to fine them as far as i'm informed (they can stop them... as some of them did for Photo Ops )... that goes for all the countries that they go through. Anyways... if the cops wanted to fine them they would just have to go to downtown Belgrade or Belgrade Airport... they'd be there.... :D
It's true, elvisb18. Click it or 100 dinars to the cops(pigs).2 years ago it was 100, I don't know now how much they take. And that was for Serbian plates, for strangers it's probably like 10 euros if they get lucky it can be more...
if you ever go to the balkans youll find out that youll get pulled over for something as little as having a foreign plate. its the centerpoint for bribery in europe, you can get pulled over for just about anything in serbia/bosnia/croatia and get off by giving the cop 20 bucks for beer. Speed traps in serbia/bosnia as far as i know consist of two cops, one with a little miniature stop sign thats supposed to force you to pull over.
It's no limits for a radio signal measurement - it's only a question of the limit's of the meter it self (how big doppler shift a radar is set up to handle etc.)
I understand my radar man, what Im saying is, in the U.S, its hard to outrun a radio, this meaning, all I have to do is get on the net and call out his speed, vehicle description, and direction of travel, and another officer or officers will respond to attempt and apprehension. Hopefully by spike strips.
Hopfully the speeding driver is smart enough to not stay on the road for long.
During the time it takes for the officers to arrive and set up a roadblock he gets some time to hide or take an another road(a car going 200 km/h will travel 10 km in just 3 mins) if he is not unlucky there is another officer with a spike strip very close ahead
But then again, the general population isnt very bright, and will probably do something stupid, Maybe even crash as such high speeds, that would teach him to jeopardize other people's lives on the highway
On open highways, or interstates. if you actually enforced the law to drive in the correct lanes you all would have less deaths from acciedents, Germen AutoBon is safer then any highway or interstate in the U.S and yet most parts have no speed limits. did you ever think of that.
dude thats Serbia. If a guy can afford that expensive car he probably knows the "sheriff" personally and some major politicians, majors, etc. Its called corruption.
Yes, but 320 km/h is what almost any model can measure. Some models can measure much higher
Golden Eagle isn't that a radar used in a car, that can measure opposit trafik to? - thas has to measure pretty high since it has to measure the combined speed of the vehicles
XD.

This was in 2006, and it was most likely a cell phone camera. Even today's cell phone cameras aren't that much better than this.

nevermind89pwnz 4 years ago
they wont need to chase, how many people in Serbia own an F40. Just go visit them at their house and give them the fine, or impound the car.
CelticLight 4 years ago
lmao...How is a police car of any nature going to stop a F40?
TheSkylineShopVancou 4 years ago
This comment has received too many negative votes show
yea most can but in serbia with yugo cars and zastava shit cars they can measure up to 30 miles / hour
shqipper 4 years ago
193km/h
PREKYBGD 4 years ago
loooked like they were going too fast for the radar - LOL
Most radar or laser guns can measure speeds up to 320 km/h (199 mph)
C20rules 4 years ago
I know my Golden Eagle can go higher than that

C20rules 4 years ago
But the hardest thing for the police is probably not measuring the speed - it's just how to stop a car going that fast - LOL
C20rules 4 years ago
Well you cant travel faster than a radio.
armyelite27 4 years ago
Here is one that may push many speed measurement devices to the limits - but of course it's not a limitation of the radio signals
