hey cool video. i ordered some bullion from first majestic but they want a copy of a paid utility or drivers lisence to prove i live hear. they said they ask this of all first time buyers....is it true :)

@metalrox44 hey, they must have changed their policy. When I purchased these bad boys from FM in Jan 2010, they did not request for any form of identification except shipping and billing details.

@Motivation53 oh well i felt it was too much information so i canceled the order but they said it would take 5 to 7 days for the money to be credited back into the account. i hope it wasnt a scam :(

@Motivation53 They did change their policy, this is only for new purchasers. The Perth Mint requires the same, so does Scotia Moccatta.

@metalrox44 I too was asked for a driver's license or utility bill copy AFTER I placed my order with a credit card! The company should have informed me that they need all this info BEFORE I gave them my financial info! I don't know why they want all this info, when they have my credit card info and an approved transaction!
