aren't Morgana and Arthur like...half-sister/brother?! but i agree with a lot of people here. how the HECK did they get from "GOD I LOVE YOU!" to "she's like a sister to me?"...that has always confused me. it saddens me even further that the legends make her all evil. oh man...i miss season 1.

Tis' a pity they're brother and sister. In many versions this is the case, but never sharing a father, I was hoping they would stick to them having igraine as there mother. Though maybe Uther is lying in the series.

Ah well, I guess we will be seeing Arthur and Morgana's relationship turn deadly as it is portrayed in several versions of the legends :-( I was hoping that the writers would borrow from works like Mists of Avalon (<3), Daughter of Tintagel Series, Road to Avalon etc in regards to Morgana's character which certainly gives her more depth than Mallory's work. I find that he portrayed all the women (not only Morgan) unfairly but that is not surprising given Mallory's reputation of abusing women :(

@noorhafinaz yep, in this version they are foster siblings which is one of the reasons why I thought they would be together. (they still might *fingers-crossed) I mean, why else would they change the fact that Arthur and Morgana were half-siblings if not to make their romantic relationship family- friendly!!!

I don't know what it is about Mor/Art I like so much. I mean, if you are familiar with the myth, it's so clear that the pairing will never have a snowflake's chance in hell. But they made Morgana such a great character especially in the 1st series that I can't help but to like her and her and Arthur together and at the same time hope the writers would just throw canon out the window and put them together. I've nothing against Gwen, but IMO G/A is too easy, perfect and boring to work on TV.

@BornToLiveForever I LOVE them so much too! The legend is ever changing and new and brilliant material keeps being added to it. If you wanted to go back to the very very original version, Arthur was practically the only character that existed and it was all about war and military. (a bit boring really)

In many versions of the Arthurian legend, they do end up together in Avalon where Morgana brings Arthur to heal after his fight with Mordred. It is often unclear if he gets better or dies <3 <3

Yes, but apparently that's not what going to happen here. She's a commoner therefore any marriage between Arthur and Gwen would have to be based on love. And since she's a maidservant, sounds like a "Cinderella" marriage to me. We will just have to wait and see what the producers do with their story.
