Limited LX (1998)

This is the European version of the 5.9 Limited. the only differences are that Limited LX are built in Magna Steyr in Austria but with all the 5.9 Limited features intact

and other colors , like green ...

At the time it needed a bit of tuning. Since then I had a completely different motor built for it using a block from another 5.9 limited. I will get another movie showing the new engine soon.

To answer your question, about 410 with 460 tq. I am looking into using a different cam as well.

It's more like 5 seconds to 60 but never had a way to secure an exact figure.

As far as mileage goes, it is capable of 20mpg but getting that on a consistent basis is very difficult as stomping on the gas is so much fun.

@flecur08 Exactly what I said before. Its not stock. And btw bud, judging the displacement soley based on the sound of the exhaust does not determine the size of the motor. Theres been way to many inovations in exhaust systems to make small motors sound drastically better. Glasspacks especially.

The reason for my previous statement was only because of the numerous other videos of stock Cherokees claiming to have 6.1's. Which were obviously not made stock for this year. Thats it. Take care.

what kinda power are you looking at on the motor?? either to the wheels or at the crank doesnt matter which. did you do anything to the tranny gears or t case?

5.9 ZJs only came in black, silver and white.. this one is blue, with 5.9 wheels and body kit.

I had it repainted with Deep Amethyst, also a 1998 Chrysler color.

I am only aware of three factory colors.

Deep Slate, Bright Platinum and Stone White. I own a white one and a "black" one.

What you mean to say is an engine with big displacement is not pleasing to your ear, such as big blocks or stroked out small blocks, which is what american muscle is all about. "Im all american muscle, I just don't think it sounds good." First time for everything.

Call comp cams. They have a number they can give you for the guys they recommend for computer reprograming. Also hughs engines techs are very helpful I find, they specialize in mopars. Good luck and let me know how you make out since I will be doing the same as you for a off road buggy.

It is just a flash, but since the ECU is not running right and a scanner cannot even communicate with it, the ECU may have gone bad.

I am not sure yet which route I want to go with on the tuning the second time around.
