  • I have always wanted a pygmy goat! Only problem is that I can't own one where I am because I don't have "farm land". Can't get a ferret either. It makes me sad :(

  • LOVE this, so cute he just randomly hops in the air from time to time!

  • She is very very cute. kind of a silly question but can goats be toilet trained like dogs and cats? if not how do you stop them from going where they shouldn't when they are in the house???

  • pygmy goats are so cute I could just stab my eyes out

  • I love goats that doe is cute

  • The grown size varies but they tend to be wide and short. The one in the video is Esme and there is another video of her titled "Esme" where she is full grown. She was just a baby in the video with her and my dachshund. She still loves to play with our dogs even though she is grown. The poor dogs usually end up being butted though!

  • How big do they get or is the one shown full-grown???

  • I ve always thought dachshunds should have a little tiny siren on thier butt beep beep beep.

  • That's a nice dog! Mine would only bark and snap.

  • My kids and I are looking into getting some of these goats. I had read that the males can put out a bad odor when they're not neutered. Is this true?

  • @3angels65 It's true. If you don't neuter male goats, their hair grows in thicker and they have behaviors such as pissing on their front legs and chins... (gross yes?). This makes them smell very musky. Ours are all neutered so they aren't stinky at all (except for the normal smell of animals who live outdoors).

  • @amarrerofl Oh yeah! Full grown billy goats are the worst! they stink so bad! lol

  • i want one! About how much does one of those little goats cost??

  • @1989ProblemChild They aren't really expensive to purchase. But you do have to support them afterward. They need property to graze on and companionship of at least one other goat. They are herd animals. And they need food, hay and water available. Sometimes they need their little hooves trimmed. There are lots of books and web sites on caring for pygmy goats. Google it :) Just know if you have a male (they call them Billys when they are not "fixed") and a female (a doe), you get babies!

  • @amarrerofl lol sooo sooooo cute! is it all grown up now? do they play with u when theyre bigger?

  • @Yelloats They never stop playing. Esme (the baby goat in the video) still plays with dogs, other goats, horses and my 16 year old son!

  • this has to be one of the cutest things ever! crazy music, though. xD

  • this is cute. it's EXACTLY what I want. When I saw this it was crazy. I want a dachshund and 2 pygmy goats and a cat but soo cute!

  • Very handsome dachshund!

  • @doxydogs Sadly, Casey has since passed away. He was diagnosed with cancer and the tumor was inoperable :( I love doxies. We have a little long hair black and tan. She doesn't play with the goats, but she does play with my Umbrella cockatoo.

  • Go Pigmy goat!

  • what's this music? very catchy

  • @malawichair I don't know. I got it from You Tubes library. :)

  • I love the idea of taking care of a pygmy goat. Do they eat the grass in the yard to the point you do not have to mow the lawn? WHen they eat grain like you said they have to stay outdoors so if it is winter does the shelter have to be heated? I would heat it anyways but I am curious about this. THis is a great idea

  • @ThreeBallz We live in Florida so as long as they have shelter out of the wind it's never really too cold for the goats. I'm pretty sure goats live without heat in the winter up north as well. You just have to give them a place out of the wind and rain. Pygmy goats are full of personality. The little one in this video is all grown but still small and is Queen of the Yard! She's still loveable and amuses us greatly.

  • @ThreeBallz my goats usually do just fine without shelter in the winter, of course we do have a shelter there for them, but most nights, they stay outside of it except when it raining and/or windy, and we live in the PNW

  • @ThreeBallz Quite a few people have bought goats thinking that they'll never need to mow the lawn again :-) The truth is though that they'll often go for other plants first (the ones you don't want them to eat), and if they do eat the grass it can be very patchy. But if all you want is a lawn that isn't 8 inches tall everywhere and you're happy with a rough look then it might work. Also when it rains they can make your lawn VERY muddy. Oh and you'll need to get a friend for them.

  • so sweet can you toilet train a goat?

  • Well. Not exactly. She was usually well behaved in the house but as she got older and started eating grain, we had to transition her outside. She's Queen of the Yard now.

  • miniature dachshunds? miniature goats? i guess it aint all about size after all! ;) cute pets
