"Endlessly fascinating, America... after Dartford" Keith quickly checks himself, not wanting to stray from the growing European anti-American attitudes. Yeah Keith, you don't want your fellow Brits to think you like America too much, even though you own a home in Connecticutt.
Richards talks about the old bluesmen as coming from nowhere - and with just the "force of sheer talent and character...they laid something down"...Well, he's forgetting that America was their breeding ground for ideas, and that no matter the difficulties of being black at that time, it was America that laid something down for them; the table was set. Richards was in the right place at the right time - and although he didn't know it, he was helping to save the blues for its own renaissance...
keith is a spoiled super rich capitolist outlaw my ass oh lets not forget the now celebrated night ib jail in 1967 he had some of the most expensive lawyers in the world gettin him off
@flakbac WTF is your point! You can't come from modest means, develop your craft and get lucky. Apart from that some of us like their music, me and millions of other people who like to see them in concert and buy their records. What do you suggest he should have when thrown in to jail after the police un justly raided their house? Should Mick and Keith have stayed in jail? I suppose if it were you in their shoes, you'd have given all your money away and stayed in jail for unjust causes. Idiot
Responder a este vídeo... flakbak fck off! You take the cake for the dumbest comment i've ever heard. They were outlaws in the sense that all they wanted to do was play music then were famous very fast, hounded, ridiculed and abused by the conservative status quo while at the same time adored by the rest. All the labels good or bad, were put on them and not only did they survive it they thrived on it. That's why Stones fans love the Stones. They aren't BP or Exxon for f sakes!
@rafaultimate69 Bobby looks great for someone nearly 70 years old! in my humble, especially after the life he's lived. Great player into the bargain...A
Read his book LIFE !!! It´s wonderful - intelligent, funny, emotional and that much more ... Keith don´t need to ask for your respect because you´ll give to him anyway - just by yourself with love and pleasure.
I do feel that I have been priviledged to have had the chance to meet many of those musicians, and last time I went to see them was in Dusseldorf... imagine 15 hours drive non stop... hell, but then meeting Keith and the band was the greatest reward...
I wanna read this so bad, but 15 it obviously "too young" like this if you disagree.
