  • how long did it take u to learn it

  • Your riffle pass was done extremely well great job its harder then people think..... From another magician I dont really like that your just exposing this pass... ive spent over 300 dollars on ellusionist to learn alot of tricks this pass was in one of the videos........ kind of upset

  • my too :l

  • my hands are too damn small.

  • Nice

  • Thanks I have nearly got the hang of it after some long hard hours but this is really effective better than the Herman carry on making videos good job

  • FUCK THE RIFFLE PASS. MUCH EASIER, AND PROBABLY MORE EFFECTIVE IS THE HERMAN PASS.

  • What are the best cards to use? (In your opinion)

  • @BlakePieroni Any really, it may be easier to practice with bridge sized cards and cards which clump up well. But any cards are perfectly fine, I honestly have no preference.

  • haha do a pass with a low FPS !

  • That is very nice form...keep up the good work

  • thank you for the good explanation! Now I have to practice a lot!!!!!!!!! xD

  • Everytime I lift my pinky to lift the cards, the cards that are being lifted always go to the middle, they dont stay catched on the corner of the cards. Help ?? ;( pls?

  • @TheUnTechableGod Use your other fingers for support and don't try too hard - be relaxed, little effort is needed.

  • @MAJICmike95 Well yeah I know that but, do I use my Right hand for support or my left hand. Im right handed btw.

  • i wonder if WTF counts as thumbs up for magic tricks

  • i love the arcane deck - so pretty ;D i have it in black though...

  • really alot better than most riffle pas tutorials

  • this was the first video i saw on the riffle pass and was probably the best, i spent every single day for the past 4 months practicing this in front of the mirror and now i can do it very well thanks to you

  • @yotamsho516 Thank you man :)

  • I started learning the pass today and I found this video very good. The riffle movement is well explained. I keep practising. Thanks!

  • yeah sure nice n bluddy gentle

  • when you think about it, hes not actually that fast, though his way of doing the pass, or the motion he uses helps him make it completely invisible

  • omg...so fast

  • hi i really like your movement, I want to know if you have one for the letter that this pole down the deck From the top or middle. in advance thank you very much

  • @brunodiaz666 Sorry I don't understand. There are many types of passes, mine is putting the top to bottom - the 'classic pass' (with a riffle). If you are looking for the pass in which the bottom goes to the top that's the 'invisible pass' - search it in on youtube.

  • HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR YOU TO LEARN?

  • i have small hands and cant cover the top packet fully so what do you think i should do

  • @FAMOUSxMODDER tilt in further, or the best way is to practice, practice, practice! Trust me you'll find a way.

  • @MAJICmike95 i find that you have more cover if you tilt your hand down and face the cards towards the spectator so you can use the second packet for cover but the only downside to that is that it doesn't look as natural as your pass does.

  • @FAMOUSxMODDER Well it doesn't matter, at least it still works! And with practice it will!

  • @FAMOUSxMODDER dont worry when i have time ill upload a tutorial with my method to achieve the pass with small hands

  • is that arcane (white)???

  • isnt this pretty much the classic pass but with a riffle

  • @MAGICdudesup Yes, that is what a riffle pass is. But many classic passes don't explain how to get the riffle whilst performing the pass.

    Mike : L

  • YOU ARE VERY GOOD WOULD YOU SPEND IT? IF NOT, IS THAT YOU SPEND TOO MANY TIMES AS MANY. THAT BELLA IS THE MAGIC .... A GREETING.

  • YOU ARE VERY GOOD WOULD YOU SPEND IT? IF NOT, IS THAT YOU SPEND TOO MANY TIMES AS MANY OF BEAUTY IS THE MAGIC NOSOTROS.QUE .... A GREETING.

  • i can't do it..

  • @Irakli008 patience. A pass is one of the hardest sleights in magic. Its probably up there with the D.P.S

  • @Majicmike95 Hey can you check out my riffle pass? I really want some advice and pointers. It's kinda based of your Riffle Pass.

  • as you tilt the deck in at 2:16, square the deck first and then execute classic or riffle pass :)

  • Great tutorial. Just wondering how you can keep the packet that you lift with your pinky and other fingers so straight when you lift it. When I try, it folds/falls in and it's very difficult for me to keep it in a straight position. If you (or anyone else) could offer me some advice on how to best keep it straight, I'd be much obliged. Thanks.

  • @DecisiveAmbivalence Thank you for your kind words and this maybe because you are putting too much stress on your little finger, you should use the help of your ring finger and middle finger which are/should be just above that packet your lifting and can help keep it steady and help lift it too. Other than that, just practise and you'll figure it out,

    Michael

  • @MAJICmike95 Okay thanks for the advice. Practise I shall. And could it have anything to do with the deck I'm using? It's quite old, and so maybe doesn't 'pass' as well as a newer deck? Regardless, I'm getting new decks soon and with practise I'm sure I'll get it. Thanks again and keep up the awesome videos.

  • @DecisiveAmbivalence Hmm, I have no idea if an old deck can be the problem, if anything I would've thought the cards would clump more- therefore making the move easier to perform, then again I might be wrong. Anyway like I said before it's all down to practise,

    Michael

  • @MAJICmike95 Ahh yes, well, it's probably just my shoddy handling. I'll keep at it.

  • @DecisiveAmbivalence

    MAGNIFIC !!!!

  • @DecisiveAmbivalence

    MAGNIFIC !!!!

    MERÇI BEAUCOUP....

  • very nice... thanks man

  • Haha now i can do it :D

  • You are quick!!! thanks for the tutorial!

  • @Jamony1 any time =)

  • Nice Arcane!!!

  • @MrBladez9 cheers!

  • very useful.

  • @DatoFarid indeed it is

  • @MAJICmike95 thanx a lot.

    :)

  • @DatoFarid your welcome =)

  • This is a riffle pass tutorial, however, this is not Chad Nelsons riffle pass

Chad's riffle pass is much bette

  • I 1st seen you do this on "The Card Trick Teacher".

I thought after I knew the move I could see it "happen". I played it frame by frame from 0:27 to 0:30 and still can't see the move! Very, very good!

  • @bruno2260 Thanks man! It's more or less the camera angle, in real ife you gotta be quick!

    Michael

  • @bruno2260 Please watch my original riffle pass vid without the tut, that's a brilliant example of what the rifflepass can do!

  • really good tutorial! you explain very detail

    I will try it~

  • @hgc021123 Thanks for commenting and yes please do,

    Michael

  • the problem with your way (tilting the deck) is that the spectator can partly see the top half transpose. In the other way, the spectator doesn't see the deck transpose. But your way has less hand movement and therefore does not look as shifty as the other method. Thanks for the tut, it was good.

  • @razmadaz123 You're welcome, and yeah I can't lie, I use both methods, all depending what angle you are towards the spectator, I just messed about with the move and It works quite well both ways. If you watch my video 'The Riffle Pass' you'll get the best angle for it,

    Thanks,

    Michael

  • is there a trick for keeping the cards straight when you lift up with the left pinky? i notice sometimes the cars will tilt and the corners with sometimes get in the way of the other half of cards you're holding in your left hand.

  • @retwad7 Hmmm, When you tilt in with your left hand, lifting up with your pinky shouldn't be hard, you're more or less relying on gravity, and if the cards are sliding and getting in the way of each other, your holding the top packet too tightly with your little finger or trying to hard to lift them up.

  • This was extremely helpful! Thank you! Great job on your first tutorial!

  • @Magic3307 Glad I could help and thanks!

  • Watching someone my age perform a move like this so well has inspired me to attempt it! You explained it in great detail and I understand the pass now! Thanks :)

  • @TheMagicFishy Thanks

  • gd tutorial, gd view

    others don't explain details

    thx

  • @shallfadi Cheers and your welcome,

    Thanks for commenting,

    Michael

  • Look you hand -.-

i have small hand, this is hard to me ;x

  • @Pakkkum your hands should grow in time if a lot of practise doesn't cut it :D But you should still be able to with a lot of practise ( a good 3 months minimum, that's how long it took me with big hands! ),

    Michael

  • i get it with 4 days of practice hey all i have 4 tips to you 1- dont do it away from the person do it close to him 2- dont move your hand alot to make it clean 3- close your right hand as u can 4-practice in front of mirror

  • @MAJICmike95 hahaha I tried practising on my brother but I got told off :L Michael do you have msn? Then you can tell me when your going into town to film :)

  • I attempted this Michael, but failed miserably :L i'm not very good with cards, there all fiddly :/

  • @LucyAnneDyer, maybe you shouldn't try such a hard trick on your first go Lucy :) Work on the hypnosis instead ;) I'm looking forward to being hypnotised after the holidays...

  • Michael i suck at this i make it fast but the proplem i cant hide it :S what i do ?

  • Comment removed

  • very nice tutorial but i have a proplem i make it fast but i cant hide it what i do ?

  • u are so smooth i make it so fast but i have a proplem when i do it , it appears to all [peoples what i have done so tell me what i do how could i cover it with my hands

  • @tahermohamed6060 instead of bringing the hands together like I've shown you, try raising the deck to the spectators eyes instead, then as you rotate the deck back down, do the move then. Sort of an up down motion, hope this helps,

    Michael

  • @MAJICmike95 thank you michael for this tip

  • i saw your other videos,i seen how smooth you are and when i realized that you are14,i subscribed.......great job......:D

  • @ZGMatara Wow, thanks man!

    Michael

  • can you make an invisible pass tutorial?

  • @TheMagical9 I don't really use that pass or practise it, but if you watch my performance video of this pass, you will see it is also invisible to the human eye.

  • @MAJICmike95 If the riffle is too hard just don't put it in,

    Michael

  • Best tut on YouTube. Thankyou
