  • WOW what car is this from it looks like my cavaliers headlight?? I WANT I WANT :)

  • Great video series, im avout to attempt doing this very soon and I plan on following all of the steps you provided. Ignore all of the people being assholes as well, seems like its just jealousy. For all the people saying "Just buy projectors", these are much more classy, its something a real car enthusiast should HAVE to do, and theres a difference between HID projectors (ONLY FROM RETRO FITTING) and Halogen projectors (EVERY projector headlight sold). If you have tips, id apreciate them.

  • This is a blessing, to see that at least some people don't put their HIDs in the stock reflectors. I want to do this, but alas, I do not have the tools needed. Amazing result.

  • и как фара светит на дороге?

  • i wanted to see em mounted and turned on at night!!!

  • So let me get this straight, every person who has "retrofitted" their car has gone through this lengthy process?

  • @ivanlibya either that or there car is no longer road legal ?

  • @ivanlibya those who retro fit do it right. if you want nice things your going to have to work for them.

  • Great badass video u should have a video of it like after its done on the car we would all love to see that

  • Great job, one day I may try this, but with a few shortcuts

  • 1 down 1 to go.

  • that's just amazing. you make it look so easy and so professional!

  • Awesome job bro!

  • very nice...hate the music but good vid

  • How much you charge???

  • hey ive been looking for hid projector headlights for my p5 and havent had any luck. how much would it cost for you to do my headlights with dual projectors?

  • would you want to do this to mine?? let me know. its for a 06 grand prix gtp..

  • Please rise for the youtube national anthem.

  • can you build me led type turn signal for the toyota venza?

  • ALL HALE THE YOUTUBE NATIONAL ANTHEM!

  • Very nice job! Seems to take some time, but probably worth it if you love your car.

What's the name of the song? I've never heard it before. Kidding!

  • How much would this cost for a motorcycle?

  • dont get me wrong, i enjoyed watching this make, but something for your average joe to do? a compressor "seems to help" and a vaccum... something to by ready made, but excellent job

  • 31 people didn't mute in time

  • you spelled custom wrong.

  • 31 dislikes are ALL for the god damn shitty music

  • because my car dont have none made already.

  • how much do you charge? i got an 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI.

  • Song should be banded from youtube.

  • @mudthrower007 Agreed. Im fukin sick of this track ruining every video

  • @mudthrower007 ask sopa

  • true talent!!

  • RANDOM COMMENT

    I AM FAT :)

I ONLY LIKED THIS CAUSE I GOT NOTHING BETTER TO DO FOOOOOOL

  • GREAT JOB! BUT WOULDN'T IT JUST BE EASIER BUY THEM ALREADY MADE??? ........CALL ME LAZY I GUESS!

  • THUMB UP! COOL VIDEO!

  • great work!

  • coisa pra fresco affffeee

  • gayest song on youtube

  • @jere2511 I agree.. lol!

  • And a car was?

  • How much to get this done to mine!?

  • On mute soon as it started. I hate this song so fuckin much

  • the count says: uh one, ah ah ah ah.

  • I want to do this myself, maybe not the vacuum part but deffinantly put the len s into my reflector housing. thanks for the video man. good work.

  • you are one clever dude! great job... not my cup of tea but I admire your craftsmanship..

  • mad props to you kid... they lok great

  • FUCK THIS SONG.

  • é melhor não subistimar o carrro q vai usar essa luz q se não fica sego

  • GREAT JOB

  • the 2 things i hate the most

    1. when i'm taking a dump and the water splashes my ass

    2. this song

  • Second, and I know YOU know this, but your viewers need to be made aware that acrylic is SHARP as sharp as broken glass, and when you were removing the remants of the vac formed piece from your reflector with your BARE HANDS and it broke, my asshole puckered in hopes you didn't cut yourself badly. I worked with a diabetic hemophylliac who was drilling a piece of acrylic, it grabbed, sliced his wrist at the base of his hand and he nearly bled to death on the way to the hospital PLEASE BE CAREFUL!

  • Well, as a professional modelmaker of 23 yrs., I can honestly say you have some good fabrication skills kiddo! I would like to make a couple small suggestions to you. First,(and you mat be aware of this) instead of plain acrylic, there is a thermoplastic called "VIVAK" (brand name) that is made SPECIFICALLY for vac forming. the nice thing about vivak is that it is not as brittle after it is formed as acrylic. If you like using acrylic, male sure you use "SG" grade which is also for vac forming.

  • im sorry im tired of hearing this song

  • Only problem I see with this is there is no HI Beam/Low Beam flip plate to keep the lights from blinding other drivers.

  • nice clean job i see you got the touch

  • OMG not this shit song again

  • you cool man" this not everyone can do" umm amazing

  • Man thats some skill you got there. It looks great

  • Mannnn that is beautiful!!! lol one down, one to go.

  • This music should be banned from YouTube!

  • holy santa claus shit you are amazing

  • The use of the roller chair is quite innovative. Simply amazing craftsmanship.

  • Well done

  • Great work mate...!!!

  • 25 HID Head Light Sellers Dislike This Video

  • One complete and .......... one complete, let start with the other one (damn it)

  • I wish one of them!!

  • omg simply amazing wish i had the tools great work

  • I watched all 4 vid. and though "Wow that might take a time!" Then I remembered that other one have to be done too. :S Too much work to my kind of men. Great Job Dude! I appreciate that kind of man!!

  • sooo thats how they made the bat signal.......

  • LIKE A BOSS!

  • This is for people who can't find pre-made projector headlights anywhere and must have them at all costs.

  • Baaah...! I'll just buy my own off Ebay w/ the angel eyes ^_^

    good work tough ;)

  • @BenyBoy44 those have a history of problems like condensation in the housing and LED's burning out just to let ya know

  • @dreamlove1995 I've never seen LED's burning out bud ;)

  • @dreamlove1995 thats why he went to so much effort to get a nice seal on them. shoddy jobs would defs end up with condensation. but those headlights are mint, he did an excellent job sealing them. should have no problems whatsoever.

  • i was really hoping you'd show the finished product on the car :( great series though! very talented, you are

  • Nice work! But it seems like many hours of labour for just one headlight...

  • How much does a job like this normally cost. It looks like a ton of time

  • how do you know the projectors are aimed correctly and arent just a few degrees off and pointing at the ground. Or will the lense adjust far enough no matter what?

  • @paintballgundown8 look at video #2.

  • the 20 dislikes are for the song not his craftsmanship

  • Excellent work. Truly a one of a kind look. Wish i could have seen it on the car.

  • WOW very nicely done just a shame u didnt turn them on but shit dude u did a very very good job NICELY DONE

  • not gunna show it turned on? wtf DISLIKE

  • After all that and your not going to turn them on and show us what they look like?

  • grate job doud :=)

  • I think I'll just buy some....

  • I'll just pay for the pre-made ones... Yup.

  • And now for the left headlights.

  • DUde, you gotta either really REALLY love doing this, or you gettin paid because that was alot of teadious craftsmanship that required specific tools that many people don't have. But I will say, I can appreciate what your doing. Because their is nothing more aggrivating than owning a car that aftermarket companies won't make anything for. Well done sir, well done.

  • @OUfootballAuthority you don't have clamps? the more the better you know..

  • Love this Video mod,Very usefull. Question what paint and sealant to use? Does it have to be high temp??? Thanks

  • would you be able to do this with a 1988 ford f150 xlt lariat headlight assembly? and if you can could you make a video of you making one?

  • Wow that looks legit...

  • i always screw from the back .... wait...

  • well done!!!

  • talented!!!!! great work greatttt!

  • thaaaanx a lot

  • im not being funny, i literally have no idea what that is you've just made?

  • @howsquiffy

They took a standard halogen headlight apart, and 'retrofit' a projector lens from another vehicle(probably a BMW, Lexus, Infinity, etc.). The owner can then use them as street legal HID's(high intensity discharge lights) that some newer vehicles have from the factory. Some people do this because some aftermarket companies don't make projector headlights for their specific vehicle. It's a somewhat costly and time consuming process, but the end results speak for themselves.

  • ohh omfg i prefer to buy it....i cant make it!

  • I canʻt find a pair for my car is there a way to make me a pair for me ?

  • very good work, these of congratulations, but if the light bulb to burn as you make? returns to make the process alone to change a light bulb?

  • now for the other side. =P

  • @crrazyy lmao

  • ich will 6 minuten meines lebens zurück, ihr spasten habt nix beseres zu tun oder son sch**s zu machen oder das bringt gar nix

  • I wana do that now!!!!!

  • Good Job... Nicely Done!!!

  • wow!! this is amazing!!!

  • America's got talent dude gotta but under 25 years old very nice work!!!!!! A+++++

  • wow ,, Good work ,, how long did you take ?? how many hours ??

  • The 20 people who disliked this must be lazy bums who don't work for a living. Straight up.

  • @DahakaMatthew couldnt have said it any better this guy is talented!

  • @DahakaMatthew mas puto

  • @DahakaMatthew I think those of us that disliked this video are the ones that realized that in the amount of time it took this guy to make these headlights you could easily make enough money to buy REAL projectors (not just look-alikes) and still have money left over.

  • @DahakaMatthew maybay thay dont like the music?

  • @DahakaMatthew no they dislike it because of the stupid music which needs to be taken off all youtube videos.

  • @DahakaMatthew I'm a lazy bum who resembles that ! And I like this video series ! Not liking this vid series has nothing to do with laziness.

  • @astrialkil haha =]

  • @DahakaMatthew Exactly

  • How much would you charge for two 2011 Toyota Corolla S headlamps?

  • Sweet, great vid series!

  • Great job! Really well done.

  • Comment removed

  • wow great job! I have a 03 Acura CL and wanted to have projectors headlights. How much would you charge?

  • @harris420 $800

  • King of Leon

  • dude have you done any work for dodge stealths or 3000gts?????

  • he should have removed the corner amber lense for a much cleaner look, but other than that, geat job

  • Nice job (Y)

  • The craftsmanship of the shroud is great, but I wouldn't be very comfortable having a heavy metal projector held in with nothing more than silicone epoxy. If this was all that was needed to ensure long term fit, then you'd see it on factory vehicles as it would save time and costs. The fact is the projector will eventually loose its position. If nothing else, a simple brace could be placed under the front end of the projector, behind the shroud. If you're gonna do it, do it right and to last.

  • @nivlacisapimp while watchin the vids i was thinkin the same thing... just silicone holding it in would not last in my town ... the roads suck here and are very bumpy

  • Dude, I'm speachless! Perfect job....

  • very cool.

you should throw some LEDs or HALOs on the shroud!

  • those custom lens NEVER work ! how could u adjust the lighting level !

  • At first I was like "mehh, I think I'd rather work the extra day to buy them premade." then after it was complete I was like "Damn, this is badass! I would love to try this myself!!" He did an amazing JOB! Well done! Thanks for showing us.

  • THIS DUDE GOT TALENT :-)

  • I think everything you did was good and for those who don't think the silicone will hold without solid brackets. well think again he has the projector secure front and rear.

H8rs man all the h8rs. you should all just build your own rockets

  • Good job!

  • like itt l3ez li lek a khawaa

  • Best Job!!:)

  • :) :) :) :) :) :)

  • Awesome Job!!!:)

  • Good Job!!:)

  • why would you not show them working

  • you are one handy dude!!!

  • Not sure about silicone, but you can use panel adhesive maybe to keep that projector in there. Panel adhesive is what's used in body shops and factories to "weld" steel panels together. That should be plenty strong enough to keep the projectors in there.

  • Part (5). Take the headlights and kick to the shit. you work like a monkey!

  • Awful music

  • There most certainly is some good craftsmanship here, loved the homemade vacuum forming. I just think a step is being skipped which would provide a lifetime guarantee to these headlights. I know what I'm talking about too, I've dealt with nearly every composite structure found on an aircraft and I know that expecting anything to last for years of use under circumstances involving heavy vibration requires over engineering and strong materials. Silicone not being one of them.

  • man that looks great bro now that ive seen this you gave me a great idea but mines gonna include carbon fiber and im not talking about the vinyl or sticker thanks for the videos .

  • very nice job, wow

  • заебала эта музыка уже

  • Would have made sense to me to test the hid for a straight line of light before siliconing the projector lens in place & closing up the headlight..

  • seeing as i do custom car audio and fabrication for a living i sorta had to chuckle watching this because nowhere in this video series does he say to repeat each step for the driver side headlight. and if your not making both pieces at the same time they will NEVER both mirror one another not to mention the headlight looks extremely gaudy
