  • OMG waw what a beautiful movie ! , I already see all the parts all are beautiful thanks for sharing

  • I looked this movie up on the internet it did not do well in theaters but when hbo and cable channels aired it became popular I think it was Holden's last movie I am not sure but it was a good movie. He wanted to die alone where he was raised and when sean's parents were killed he didn't know if he should take him back or go with out him but Foley took him and taught him so he could survive in the outback he was dying from cancer and stopped taking his medication.

  • I haven't seen this movie in years. A great movie it was too. I probably still have it on VHS...

    You're VERY WELCOME!

You must be another of the "Pure Souls" who has the capacity to comprehend this film that meant so much to Bill Holden at the waning days of his life, looking back, assessing his body of work...

Informing my enduring loyalty to “All that’s Bill Holden”

    Dear 05mg05,

My dearest Beloved passed on a while ago,

feeling his absence keenly and miss him as you do your Dad.

You’re fortunate to have haunts to remember your Dad by

and are able to frequently re-inhabit those memories.

Thank you for sharing your Precious Sentiments!

  • Why did you cut the ending?

  • @Mattmannish

To our chagrin, one of the best sequence of this film had to be cut off

to forestall claims (music, etc.), thus ensuring it's longevity on YouTube –

you can glimpse this sequence by viewing

  • Amazing

  • For me "The Earthling" Mirrors his "SPIRITUAL JOURNEY," His hard-earned, end -of-life ARTISTIC OFFSPRING-cum-EPITAPH, he so endeavored to bring about for himself / HIS COUNTRY / his fans whose affection he so guarded with zeal lest he lose it perchance. Hopefully, generations of his fans will appreciate this THOUGHTFUL artist "whose life was filled with concerns for other people and creatures," his singular MYSTICAL RELATIONSHIP to the animal kingdom -- WHWF.
  • Awesome

  • Voted down by accident, then corrected. Sorry.
