  • Is this the gay ass little boy from Dr. Phil that slapped his mom...lol. Sure reminds me of him. little fag needs a dad..fuck all these pills..If moms today would just stop being such bitches maybe kids would have fathers, not a pill substitute.

  • This boy is miserable casue these pills make kids smarter boring and dont fit in more then they do already boo

  • ya when the ritalin wears off and i happen to be in a good mood i would laugh at spinning a peice of paper lol

  • does he have on makeup?

  • 20 Million kids and adolescents are labeled with "mental disorders" that are based solely on a checklist of behaviors. There are no brain scans, x-rays, genetic or blood tests that can prove they are "mentally ill", yet these children are stigmatized for life with psychiatric disorders, and prescribed dangerous,life-threatening psychiatric drugs. Child drugging is a $4.8 billion-a-year industry. <via cchr(dot)org

  • cannabis has also been proven an effective treatment for adhd,i've experienced both ritaline and cannabis , and i think that ritaline can sometimes make you really uncomfortable at times.

  • I guess an easy way to put it, at least for me, is that Adderall, which I know is not the exact same compound as Ritalin, keeps me able to keep up with my brain. Before I was medicated I would sit in class and not be able to pay any attention to the teacher. I would think about literally hundreds of other things, while staring her dead in the face. People thought I was paying attention when, in reality, I was miles away. I'd get As on test because I was intelligent, but I'd fail homework.

  • This kid explains it very well. I have ADHD and like him, I hardly tell anyone. I understand the feeling he means by 'everything is louder'. It's good to know theres other people out there like me.

  • @trecoolsrebelrocker Yeah. Many a time I'd be sitting at a family gathering and I'd just have to get up and leave because it was just too bothersome. It was like everyone was shouting when they were just talking.

  • Eh, If you ask me. The only reason why parents give their kids Rittalin or Adderall is because they are weak and can't handle them. When i would take Rittalin or Adderall no one ever made fun of me, When i would take either of those medications i would literally be a ticking bomb, Anyone who would tell me shit would be smashed and choked on sight. I don't take them anymore, ADHD is just some bullshit excuse for happy kids. Fuck anyone who made Rittalin, Adderall or any form oh ADHD medicine.

  • My 22 yr old son died after he was abusing his Ritalin which is basically speed or an amphetamine. If you go to the FDA you will read on their warning sheet that it is highly addictive, 1 of the top 10 drugs. None of my son Sean's doctors ever warned us of the addictiveness. Once you are addicted your chances of recovery are 2-10%. Try strattera in a higher dosage if needed, and I hear prisons are using meditation to cure addictions as seen on Oprah.

  • @pwg1126 sorry for your loss

  • @adofri Thanks. Try and pass it on. I think of him everyday. Stop prescribing amphetamines like Concerta, and adderall.

  • @pwg1126 i'm very sorry about your lose. I, myself, am a prescribed Ritalin user. What mg did your son take?

  • @PfeifferDubstep He was prescribed 20mg 3 times a day but started abusing his medicine and would take as many as 32 in a day. He learned to doctor shop. Today NIDA study is going to be published that shows Ritalin may react stronger than cocaine to the brains reward sector making the cravings worse. I am trying to get the word out to honor my son Sean.

  • @pwg1126

    who gives a fuccckkkk?..

    life is not real..

just get on with it,life sux so just take Ritalin..it will take about 10-20 years off me WTF DOES IT MATTER!!!!!

  • @BoardsOfCanadaMusic9 Wait til you have withdraw, and brain damage and you ruin your life then your family's. God forgive you for your ignorance and may he keep you safe.

  • @BoardsOfCanadaMusic9 Hello friend. your view of life and your comments compelled me to reply. Please refrain from replying until at least you have pondered my words and applied thought to reason. By subjecting yourself to this submission has a far greater effect than you realise. Perhaps you have never asked the question 'What is life'. Ask the question! Play the game, choose your path. This is played mostly by the 'unknowing'. He who feels, knows. Be Free Alister said

  • Seems like a normal kid to me...these meds are more harmful than good in my opinion.

  • this kid seems smart

  • I just got diagnosed with ADHD/Bipolar....

    (4months ago)

I'm taking 10 mg three times a day......I feel that there is a genuine hope in every thing I say and do...wish I was diagnosed earlier...I'm 47 years old...what a waste...

  • @jballzzz How long do you think you can take this highly addictive drug before you build up a tolerance and need more to get the same previous effect. Use a natural stimulant or accept your limitations. Ask your doctor why this is classified as a schedule 2 drug, and if it can cause a heart attack.

  • heres your solution: smoke weed and continue using ritalin, so you won't be depressed and when you get happy you WILL get happy :D

just kidding, I don't support illegal drugs.

  • ADHD Children :)

  • Ritalin's actually much more like COCAINE in its effects than amphetamine. Ritalin increases dopamine transmission (feel-good hormone) while amphetamine increases dopamine AND adrenaline (feel-good and excitement/anxiety hormones). But yeah, their structures are related to one another.

  • @RedRainbow626 There is a study out by Dr. Yong Kim of the NIDA (National Institute of Drug Abuse) in New York which states your comment. Google Ritalin study by Dr. Yong Kim. The director of NIDA Nora Volkow has stated that these drugs like Ritalin and Adderall can damage the frontal lobe of the brain, which controls the yes, no decision making. The brain is stimulated 100 times more than any normal pleasure, and starts craving these substances.

  • Ritalin is methylphenidat, a kind of amphetamine!

  • what is ritalin?

  • @lyonsuteo Ritalin is speed. It increase the dopamine production in the brain and increases the heart rate. Good to the FDA website and search for Ritalin Warning sheet. It will warn you of the addictness and risk to your heart arithmia, and death.

  • please dude. dont ruin ritalin it already has a bad name. if youre gonna abuse it just dont talk about it

  • hey, nice vid, could you tell me please the name of the song in the beginning

  • The young boy wants to fit in with his classmates and just be accepted. He's curious about life and wildly imaginative. He's intelligent and generous and can also be a handful.

  • @dnicolebos That is the sad part. The drug makes you stop feeling. Things that were funny are not funny anymore, and your friends will notice. That is what happened to my son. We have so many young people dying from peer pressure and wanting to get high on prescription drugs especially pain pills like Oxycotin, and Vicodin. Look on YouTube under In Memoriam and see the beautiful young people who died early because of drugs and drug abuse. I think teens and young adults are at high risk.

  • I will watch your work when it is complete. But I have to know now if this boy thinks the meds have been good or bad for him. Does he fear reality because of its dynamic effects on mood?

  • This is going to be amazing!! This is my dream documentary project. Your subject is great - really articulate. Let me know if you need any help doing qualitative research.

  • Hi Ken:

You're interested in how psychotropic drugs affect kids? Let's talk.
