Stevie did NOT fall in love with Lindsey when she was 17, they got together when they were in college! Also, Stevie's songs are frequently about more than one thing. Listening to the lyrics and making them about Lindsey doesn't mean that the song IS about Lindsey. Find the clip where she talks about it - it's NOT about Lindsey.
He did not break her heart, she dumped him in 1976! She has said in interviews that Joe Walsh was her one true love. I don't think that Lindsey will ever be over Stevie, even though he is married....
