  • 875 Kathy (wep)

  • can someone please tell me which number on the bottom of my router i put on my computer to get wi fi,as there is 4 dfferent numbers

  • @8757kathy There is two things you need when connecting to your WiFi. The SSID which is shown in my demo above 32 seconds into the video. The second is the password that is set in your router during setup. See my securing your WiFi router video on my channel.

  • i do this on my laptop and it does say connected, but when i try to access the internet it still doesnt let me. do you know any way to fix this?

  • @SuperBooyahhh More than likely your router is not handing out an IP address through the WiFi adapter. I would assume if this is the case other wifi devices will behave the same way. Either that, or your WiFi adapter is not setup to configure IP addresses via DHCP.

  • dosent work

  • very good the exsplanation

  • ASs some one help i got that wifi but i cant see connections pls help or fuck your self help........ D=

  • A lot of people are saying they are missing the icon at the bottom. This could be because the wireless network drivers are missing or corrupted even though your Laptop has a wifi switch as shown in video. This is a hardware/configuration issue which this video does not apply as this video is geared toward setting up wifi and not troubleshooting it. If this video doesn't help you usually a good way to fix things is to delete your wireless profile. Reinstall WiFi Drivers would be the next step.

  • @penncomputers If drivers fail then running windows repair would help restore corrupted windows file(s). I would only suggest that at this step you have a professional work on your system as if not done correctly this step can cause missing data or further damage. I will try to to get a video out on removing the wifi profile and a basic video on how to manually install drivers(intermediate level)...

  • I have a laptop that used to connect to wireless but now it doesnt. I has windows xp pro sp3. The connection shows up and when i click connect it loads for a while and says it couldnt connect. It has a wpa password. But it doesnt ask for a network key it just loads. Can anyone help?

  • YEA I DONT HAVE THAT WIREELSS ICON HELP ME

  • can someone help me? im tring to connect a second computer to the first wirelessly, the device is working but the first computer cant detect it and whenever i try to configure the driver the computer crashes. i cant find anything that will tell me whats wrong with the thing.

  • my laptop canot connecting with wirless please some one help me

  • Hey I have a question. If I don't have the wireless icon, how do I get it? Would XP SP3 fix this?

  • My computer cant find my wirless device!

  • There is no tab in the bottom right about the connection. Also it can't detect any networks

  • @siege60 , it sounds like windows doesn't realize you have a wireless device. I would re-install your wireless software(Device drivers). If you need further assistance feel free to e-mail me. I do offer remote support services. This wouldn't cost no more than $45 to fix and I don't charge if I can not fix it.

  • @penncomputers get a job

  • @penncomputers dammit...are u fucking kidding me ??? You gonna charge 45 just for fixing it ???? guys just mail me, I will do it for free...No matter what problem you guys have. I will do it for free of cost.

  • Seaneddy1888, could be a bad wireless profile. I'll post an example this weekend.

  • @penncomputers I'm sorry but you could have just replied!

  • when i choose the wireless router that i am trying to conect to .. i press conect but then it says : windows is unable to conect to the selected network .. the network may no longer be in range please refresh the list of availible networks and try to conect again .. but i had already had a laptop conect to this router before with no problems .. can you tell me how to get around this ?
