Typhoon Morakot devastated Taiwan 莫拉克重創台灣

Even I was born and now living on the Island of Taiwan, but I DON'T have sympathy for those who buried and dead during the flood! The government already warned and tried to evacuate those resident before the typhoon and rain came in but they pay NO ATTENTION or just IGNORED those warning!!!

Taroko Gorge is a beautiful place, and it's only for people with beautiful hearts.

Taiwan promised me a trip to Taroko Gorge National Park but then they reneged. I was so furious and as a result, I have no sympathy for Taiwan.

Natural disaster strikes indiscriminatingly, but the poeple can make the difference. At least I don't see any report of davastation in the aftermath of the typhoon. Their government seemed very capable of taking care of the people. FEMA can learn a few things from them.
