    I've heard before if it is to hot or to humid or something like that it becomes very difficult and doesn't work well. So maybe it was the tempature

  • @sortedfood Heavy whipping is ALMOST as fatty. For baking i add a pinch of butter to the milk to make up the difference.

  • i know grilled cheese is quite simple but do you think you guys could do like a gourmet grilled cheese type thing? I've recently been making a lot of grilled cheese and have tried combinations like dates and goat cheese on pumpernickel and feta, spinach and honey on a regular tuscan bread, but I was wondering if you guys had any other ideas or interesting combos.

  • Hi guys, can you do a ratatouille (spelling) recipe, especially for a slow cooker, I never seem to get it right and I love the idea of having this alongside BBQ or grilled meat...Also healthy!

  • Hiya, I have a really bad iron deficiency, but hate brocolli and spinach, the clasic iron rich food, so I end up relying on supplements to get my levels up. How about a meal high in iron that doesn't taste disgusting please, so I can get what I need from my food, not just my pills :)

  • @xoxsofixox same here! But the classic iron rich foods are meat, some seafoods and especially beef and chicken liver (heme iron). Non-heme iron from vegetables is not as bioavailable as heme iron, so animal sources of iron are better than vegetable ones. I don't think you can get your iron level to normal with just food if you are already diagnosted with an iron deficiency, but that is something your doc knows better than me! :)

  • @xoxsofixox Yeh I just thought it would be better to have the pills helping the diet rather than the other way round, I know I'll still need them but it would be good to have more ideas for my diet :) I do eat a bit of red meat, but not loads, I eat more chicken and fish, so any iron rich meals in general would be good, not just vegetables. So maybe some more ideas including red meat? I know the types of food I need to eat, just ran out of ideas of how to cook them :)

    Ok so, there are a lot of food allergys in my family which makes cooking something that everyone can eat well... almost imposible.

    So heres the challenge, make/find a yummy dinner type recipe that does not include ANY of their food allergys.

    The food allergys are: Wheat, Corn, milk, egg, peanuts, vanila, cocconut, hazelnuts, and other tree nuts.

    If you decide to accept this challenge then I wish you Good luck. You will need it! :)

I mean, I've seen INSANE Yule Logs before, like the massive ones at Disney World (like a meter and a half long), but I want to see the kind of thing you guys would make as a simple, quick, but festive Yule Log.

  • @Tyson909 If it wasn't for the fact that they put everything on the bottom side, I'd say you could use the baking paper to help you. If it helps, think of it like the Sorted Sushi recipe video a few weeks back, keep the filling simple, and go slowly.

  • @aichawr Occasionally we have to re-deliver a line or two (especially when Jamie makes it completely inappropriate!) but the recipes are simple enough that they turn out fine.

  • Are peaches in the UK that yellow? In the US they are more orange than yellow.
