Hi. I'm thinking of buying one too, and I want to know if the back diameter, where it is attached to the lens, is different from the front diameter, where you attach the lens hood.
@kenny19871028 good thing you mentioned this!! Because I was going to order a hood for the 62mm filter which i bought. But I looked at it just now and no the threads where you would attach a hood are bigger than 62mm on my filter. I don't have anything to measure it with now Sorry. Plus there's Reallly only 1 thread for the hood to screw on with. And if I were to recommend anything I would recommend buying the biggest nd filter for the largest lens you own and use stepping rings on the smaller
@richmaskey hmm.. I'm not a professional. I am a beginner to photography. I really can't vouch that the filter softens the image or creates any color cats. I'm very happy with the results.. I don't notice any problems. I mainly bought this filter because I didn't want to have to carry multiple nd filters around. And I wanted too Be able to have a very shallow DOF outside. And so I can take long exposures in sunlight. I again. I'm not a profe
What about the sharpness?
