Must had been an AA flight who was canceled that day. Worst airline i ever flown with and i will never set my foot on an AA plane again in my entire life. I go Southwest, the only choice if you want´s to be treated with respect and not like dirt like American Craplines.

working at the airport is hell. u need alot ot patience to deal with pax constantly. but hey question, who does the weight and balance for the flight. is it the cockpit crew or a load planning department?

should be dispatch in ops, then captain should approve the W&B/Flt plan data.

Pilots do w&b, but it's the loading department that gets the weight, because they weigh baggage right at the counter in the airport, and automatically each person is 275 pounds weight.

That's the weight they go by and then pilots do the math.

@getjetsetgo the load supervisor dose the total weight for the cargo & the pilot get that info from hiim to get the gross weight for take off sped etc
