@quagmire9111 You may be blowing too hard. That's what happens to mine when I blow too hard or when I am not blowing down it right. Just blow SOFT. ;)
Wow. I've tried several instruments, and though 6 and 12 hole ocarinas came naturally to me, I have NEVER been able to play a recorder without getting frustrated and just blowing into it to make as much noise as possible to harass my neighbors,given that it is common to hear their children crying endlessly or the parents yelling at eachother.
I wonder if I play this to my baby squirrels whenever I feed them, when they grow up and I let them go into the trees, will they come back down to me when I play a flute and feed them. And would the other squirrels take note and see I"m harmless and theirs food and follow. This looks like an easy song to play, and my niece has a flute.
hey there :) i swear i commented on this O.o anyway you play really well :) and thanks for the notes and all :) know how to play :) just one thing when you going from note to note blow into the hole for every note and not one long breath in which you play like 5 notes at a time :) just a tip from a fellow music teacher ...like teacher to teacher tip? :) and playing recorder for almost 13 years now its a mistake i made for like 10 of those years :)lol so yeah:)you a total legend:)thanks again!
