Huh......what i would give for General Motors to re-invent such a nice van like this.Its even worse than it already is because that was the last of its van/truck body frame.I honestly cant see why such a good vehicle was canceled.Maybe one of these days the Chevy astro will be re-born.Thats one of my wishes.But for now my old one will do just fine.

yea i hate how GM discountinued these body-on-frame vans they were the toughest vans out there! they were truly the last of their kind after ford discountinued the Aerostar in 1996 no other company has since then based their vans off of a rugged truck platform

The Astro was like a Tank! I can't believe Chevy stopped making this great vehicle. That's what is wrong with GM. They have a great vehicle with a hugh following and what do they do? The cancel it!
