Deze broadcom Cristal Atom vind ik ook niets. Ik wacht wel tot er een Touch versie van deze komt, met Nvidia ION2 en de Atom 450. Dan heb ik echt een handig zak apparaatje voor het kleine werk mobile.

Er komt nu ook een 1218 met de Atom 450, deze dual core apparaten met ION2 zijn helemaal niet zo langzaam, alleen voor zeer zware apps als Maya of Autocat werken niet goed op deze atom, maar apps als Photoshop CS3 daaien op deze netbook wel vloeiend. Je merk echt dat er DirectX 10 accelaratie inzit, wat goed van pas komt met h264 in 1080p HDMI out, voor iedereen die torrent HD kijkt.

Voor DirectX 10 Games is dit wel te langzaam, die ION heeft te weinig stream cores de huidige generatie games te draaien met veel effecten aan, maar op deze lage 720 resolie van het scherm en all settings medium/low kan je nog wel 20/30 frames halen MW2, Batman of Dirt2.

Maar wie gaat dit nou kopen om op te gamen, dat is net als gamen op je telefoon. Dit gamed ook niet lekker op een HDTV, juist bij 40/56 inch zie je goed dat het in 1080 of 720 dat dit echt niet uit ziet. Alleen oude =< DX9 kan je wel spelen op de TV in 720.
