  • well, i figured i would just apologize anyways. he and i talked recently about what he said and he is still an asshole about it. sorry again.

  • my first comment was posted by my brother. i am sorry for what he said to you. i realize that this is a bit late but i hope it means something. i honestly cannot believe he used my account to bash you in words spelled incorrectly. i agree with you do not watch the movie... total piece of shit. peace.

  • @ryrymaas1000 Well thanks for the apology and all, but I can't say I was particularly offended by what he said. When you upload videos to Youtube, you have to learn to put up with the internet hate machine because, well, that's just the way Youtube works.

  • I still liked Dark floors. But I get where you'r coming from you want them killing people,a horror/comedy thing, that's a lot like the Beatles help movie type movie.Do I think it's a perticularly bad idea,no.But I think they don't wanna alienate thriller/horror movie fan's,by saying it's all about us.Maybe later they'll do something like that. But I think they don't wanna make people sick of them. They already have alot of video's out.So to make a musical type movie might be to much.

  • Okay I finished the movie, and for those who don't like spoiler's stop reading. So I can't believe you didn't get the ending of this movie. It's very simple the little girl was dreaming the hole time. It's all in her dream, and the red crayon she want's in the beginning symbolizes death, and the blue symbolizes life.At first she wanted to die,and now she want's to live.It was a very good story. So yeah,I think that I made pretty good point's on my last comment's so I'll stick with those.

  • @cloudvol7 Yeah, I guess the reason that I didn't get the "its all a dream" ending is because: 1. that's still totally ambiguous and 2. ending on a dream is such a clichéd technique that I've even seen parodied in saturday morning cartoons. As for red=death and blue=life; that's just fekkin retarded. And you can't have an art-film story (albeit a really bad art-film story) alongside guys in stupid costumes. If he wanted to make this film, he could have done it without putting the band in it.

  • @FreakBoi2008 Well I agree with you on one thing, and that's Lordi didn't have to be the monster's they could've had any typical monster's play the part, and I don't even know if what I said is what they were trying to show with the different color crayon's,and such. They could've all died, and that was like a heaven or something. The old guy said that he didn't feel cold anymore.Still I thought that the story was kinda touching. To me that's a nice change, because most thriller/horror's aren't.

  • I haven't seen it,but I'm goin to.Still from what you say,it sound's like you like the cheesyness of Lordi.Me I'm glad they're doing less cheesy, better written song's.Song's like Blood red sandman, and The devil's a loser. But that one might be old.Still you get what I mean.I mean no one likes Slipknot, because they right stupid song's.So song's like Blood red sandman are in,and chainsaw buffet's out,and I say good.I think they're going for less cheesy. So they can be tooken more seriously.

  • @cloudvol7 I actually do like Slipknot. Anyway, I think that Devil is a Loser is really cheesy, especially where the lyrics are concerned. I suppose what I was getting at was that you can never take a band like lordy totally seriously in regards to the "scariness" of the band. Lets face it, they dress in halloween costumes and pretend to be monsters- its not exactly going to keep me awake at night in a state of panic. But that's fine: you don't need to be taken seriously to be a good band.

  • @FreakBoi2008 I think you do have to be tooken seriously,to some extent.I mean look at Gwar, they could've been more popular if they made stuff more like what they do today. But they didn't,and like you said Lordi don't look that scary maybe they new that, and didn't wanna show themselves to much.I think if they would've that would made it more cheesy. But like I said,I havn't seen it yet.To me there's a fine line between cheesy, and not.Given there look they can't afford to be cheesy...

  • @cloudvol7 Actually Gwar have a much larger fan base and Lordi if you go by album sales, the concert sizes and also how well they sell internationally. Also, the best thing to happen to Lordi's career was Eurovision and they pretty much won that because of their cheesiness.

  • @FreakBoi2008 Yeah, but my point is that ,it's not a coincadence that Gwar is becoming less cheesy. But as far as I no they don't have a movie,or as many video's.So who's to say who's getting more fan's now.

  • @cloudvol7 I see your point with videos, though the movie is pretty obscure unless you're already a Lordi fan or have, at least, done a bit of research. This is bargain bin stuff. Also, I know I'm nitpicking but you don't need the apostrophe in the word "fans"- its a plural rather than a word that indicates possession.

  • @FreakBoi2008 I have seen about half the movie, and I like it so far,so I don't need to change any of my comment's,and I can prove I've seen some of it too.Because the little girl's obsessed with red crayon's.Alright so I'll give the final verdict when I'm finished...

  • @FreakBoi2008 Also I think maybe if they can get people to be fan's that weren't originally fan's.A in you'r face type movie may not be the way to go.I mean it's to in you'r face.I know their video's are,but the video's are hit,and miss, some say cool, other's may need some convincing...

  • i loved lordi before eurovision and i love them for the dark humor not scarines =]

  • @04cepaast Same, I got into Lordi from the album SCG II: The Monster Show. That was the main problem I had with the movie, the band were always really tongue-in-cheek, but we're supposed to take them seriously as horror movie antagonists.

  • @FreakBoi2008 yeh you know i just watched it and i personaly loved it, the ending was odd but made you wonder how and why??, it was awsome =]

  • blimy blmiy blmiy bull shit bull shit due nobdy understands you its a fucking horror movie man take it how it is dude and injoy it dont fucking over thank it christ go fuck the qween you limmey prick

  • Holy shit! That has to be one of the dumbest things I've ever read on the internet. Over thank it?! What the fuck does that even mean?! And that's before I even get into your spelling and your grammar! Qween?! Like, with a "W"?! And, also, are you saying that there's no such thing as a good horror movie, even if that was true, it doesn't mean I should just put up with the shitty ones. Lastly: PUNCTUATION!

  • I actually liked the movie. But if you didn't its your review and your opinion.

  • Fair enough

  • Okay, I'll admit, some parts of the movie didn't make sense. I'm amateur writer, and I probably could've written it better. Maybe not, but I did have a better idea for it after I watched it. I liked the idea, but didn't feel like it was all fully developed. It was a movie without a reason in a sense. That's the way I see it. But I thought it was okay.

  • HA your a fuckin nerd dude that movie was'nt scary i agree but the movie was good expisilly the part where amen rips that guy's heart out i mean come on if you honestly did'nt like then your stupid and their coustumes are scary to some people i think their kick ass so there

  • *sigh* I'm stupid because I didn't like a scene of someone's heart being ripped out? I think if i wanted to see that, I'd watch one of the George Romero zombie films or Peter Jackson's Braindead. gore effects have been done better on many occasions, so that didn't impress me. Not that gore makes a film good, I mean, look at Hostel, that film was a pile of shit.

  • The reason will be revealed in the sequel muah-ha-ha-haaaa.

  • ur hot xx

  • how did the guard die? ive only seen the trailersb ut hes my fave, cos he has a gun lol.

  • he was kick ass ¬¬

  • you are a good reviewer

i think this could be a good movie if they changed the monsters and had reason to why it all hapend

and why is a big devil looking thing, a kinda predator looking guy, a ghost from world of warcraft and a mummy or something together?

  • good review. really thats how i felt the first time i watched it...plus i didnt now who they where at that time :( yay its on some horror channle on my TV.

i sort of get the movie now.

on and question. so i dont have to watch thw whole movie again. was kita (the alien drummer) in the movie at all? because i dont remember seeing him...

  • Yeah kita attacked them when they were in the lift.

  • I improvised it then edited out all the crap bits where i go on for too long. I never bother with scripts.

  • Ha! Great job man. That's exactly how I felt about this film... and I'm a Lordi fan to boot. :/
