  • we can do that... youtube.com/watch?v=_VsyL67Kx7Y&feature=recentu

  • Don't Google Doe's Account, mind numbing.

  • that realy fuckt op men light speed making my day speed up fok black anti matere

  • google Doe's Account, mindblowing.

  • So that means that the universe (either visible to Earthlings, or the entirety of the universe's expansion) is 14,000,000,000x6,000,000,000,000 miles?

  • Can the speed of light be slowed down????

  • @boredchguy Supposesdly not. Light can bend due to gravitational pull of heavy solar bodies, but not slow down.

  • yeah.. it depends what medium it travels through. The light goes slower through for instant water then through air.

  • @boredchguy yes, it depends on the medium it has to travel through. Physicists even managed to find a medium that can literally stop light !!

  • @boredchguy you could give light a stern talking too.

  • look up multiverse, all that dark matter in theory that makes up like 98% of what we cant see is another universe in another dimension

  • universe has no age

  • so when you travel to the end of the Universe, do you run into a wall?

  • @TheNewRiflemanBob, No. You magically teleport to just one foot due north of the north pole.

  • lol no.. you may go to a new universe though ?

  • you go to another universe, is the theory

  • @TheNewRiflemanBob

    there is no end.

  • @Dufflebagboy778 i doubt it if your IQ is 107...coz you wont be asking this IDIOTIC question

  • 105 not 107

and what was idiotic about it

  • @Dufflebagboy778 your probably going to study something to do with astronomy, physics, chem that kinda stuff in teritary education, probably alot of studying however but it would be the best job imo

  • so in a sense, every year we can see an extra 6 trillion miles worth of our visible universe?

  • is that true

  • that is true

  • I've been reading some of these comments.

People. PLEASE do not write about topics you do not understand! Either educate yourselves more and re-post, or simply do not input. Also, if you have any intelligence at all, you will have realised by now that there IS NO GOD!! Seriously, wake up. It's like believing little red riding hood has something to do with the creation of the universe.

  • i hope that wen u die u go into like spectator mode and u can fly around the universe at any speed u want and go anywhere u want to

  • i think that only happens when you die in left for dead, but that would be cool

  • haha

  • all this and people still say there isnt a God..

    bhahahha.

  • This is one of the most stupid comments i have ever read

  • so where does islam come into the equation

  • It doesn't

  • light is all matter is a form of light everything is light vibrating itz on frequency.

  • the faster you go the more time slows down so for the object going at the speed of like to the object were prolly not moving at all but its realy traveling at the speed of light.

  • ye lol youde probabley get somewher 5 min before you set off

  • No doubt. Light has been proven to bend. Stars and galaxies have shown up twice in the sky via echos. Light speed is not a constant. Maybe when they dump this religious belief we can start venturing off this planet.

  • so if light stands still, does motion stand still? and if motion stands still, does time stand still?

  • Not necessarily.

Firstly you must understand that you are thinking about this from a human perspective and therefore some concepts (such as time) will escape you.

Secondly, you are assuming motion has is proportional to time, whilst this is an acceptable proposition, there is no real scientific evidence to certify this claim.

  • if light stands still, then only up to the distance that the light traveled does that movement still exist. So after that, the movement no longer exists, or more technically is not visible, there fore you can't put a time on it if it doesn't exist. But within the light, there is time to be given to that movement.

For example, outside our 13.4 billion years of visibility there is still motion, so whatever happens still has a time line, but it's just simply not visible to us.

  • I want that slinky.

  • Its not uniform because of gravity
