  • This is quite useless. It's got some basics of newtonian physics, but there isn't any collision, and its slow at 5000 bodies. I can't imagine how slow this would get in an actual game environment with actual collision detection and resolution.

  • @TheMetalification666 Dude easy. You're making the mistake most made by (sorry) noobs. An mmorpg is NOT something you can make for a LONG LONG time if you can make a rotating cube.

  • 1337 viewer wooo

  • Wow, if they had collision stuff, I think your PC might start lagging quite a bit more!

  • well they don't collide

  • veery nice ! I have just one thing to say : THIS IS ABSOLUTELY USELESS !!! How ? (or a better question is WHY ?) to simulate falling spheres in programs/games ?!! Sorry man DBP sucks worst engine ever.

  • @fleckband fuck you man DBP is great for people starting out in game programming

  • It doesn't look like they collide with each other. I bet that a big part of the drop in fps is just drawing all the spheres, forget calculating their position.

  • there's only one way to find out if you're telling the truth, upload the source code on to rapidshare and give us the download link so we know if this is true or a lie.

  • Yeah, we cant tell theres no plug in (or HW accel) ...whats the point. I can do 50 million in SW if you wanna accept the frame rate of 1 day.Now just getting it running at an acceptable fps ;)
