Why would you have trees to keep back this water? And those are the seawalls that are supposed to protect the coast, they don't even look that tall enough, this is what I am talking about , all they need to be is a little higher, why is that so hard, also you can build some drainages, and ditches around it.
I am sickened of comments about the poverty of beautiful Guyana, you have not seen poverty until you traveled the world. We may not have had the nice cars or houses but no one ever died of starvation or heart problems and stress of the so called rich countries,We are and will remain a country rich in talented and bright smart people.Love Guyana and USA. thanks
This is not a disco- it is a sound track for a film.. in the 50 min film there are many other types of music.. also if you note there is African music as well
Guyana is a land of crosses. It'll never flourish. You can't even cut down a tree without dying. It's all the English and Dutch's fault- you can't build a proper house at times because they still want the land even in their death. This is nothing new to Guyanese. This land is cursed. Too much obeah and all that nonsense too. Guyana living is a hard living. Even so, Guyana is still beautiful and will always remain beautiful.
It may possibly change if the collective consciousness of our people changes. We need more love vibrations ,less selfishness and hate. The collective consciousness of a people affects the nation,as above so it is below.Peace.
@mysweetcherie Definitely. I hope things will change soon, but with everyone migrating elsewhere it's hard to hold hope in such things ever happening.
This video made me cry for the country that I love.....I left when I was about 4yrs old and did not return until I was in my early 20's....since then I have been back 4 times...I will be going home soon for a long visit......I so thank you for this lesson and the beauty that I wish more people could see and understand.....I live in America and love the USA.....but....I AM A PROUD GUYANESE WOMAN AND LOVE MY COUNTRY OF BIRTH.....

Good video. I'm sickened by the poverty while the English family dines sumptuously, degrading the country. But they will pay for what they've done.
