Sir you seem to be a Christian but why are you so negative about the Church? It says in The Word to not forsake the fellowship of the saints. I love my church and I also know that if we are the body of Christ what good is the foot without it being connected to the leg? And the whole thing about comparing schools to churches how is it that you think we come to a point where we know all there is to know about God? We will never be able to know all there is to know.

how about the idea of the church as an organizational unit of the kingdom? The scriptures have an unlimited amount of wisdom to teach, and we cannot find out it's secrets on our own, so social gathering, which leads to strengthening of social bonds, can also lead to broadening of concepts of faith and knowledge of god. I do agree to you that some are too pushy with spreading their church, and I agree that god should be the focus, not church meetings.

God's church is everywhere, not just in a building of worship. You make your communion with God any place at any time. It isn't solely for Sunday services or holidays.

When 20% of your congregation does all the work and the other 80% just show up on Sunday morning all you have is a small church in a large crowd.
This is great! What he is talking about is absolutely true about the church in America. I can't imagine having to keep on going to school. I think going to school and getting degrees to be succesful according to the world is a bunch of hogwash. I think it can really stop people from living the life God has for them.

What is the motive behind the invite? To build your local church or to advance God's Kingdom. You would be suprised how ppl invite others to a service but never converse with the invitees abt Christ. inviting ppl to a service doesn't constitute witnessing.
