Pacquiao on the other hand can do both. That is to fight forward, attack, which is his natural gift. He has also learned to fight backward and be a counter-puncher (Pacquiao-Hatton). Although the latter is not his natural style but he's shown he is capable of it. And he can switch back to being the aggressor so fast and so efficiently.
Yet still his weakness is that he can still be drawn to the opponents lair and countered. I hope he overcomes that.
Of course JMM didn't stand a chance against Floyd. Floyd kept fighting backwards which was good for him and JMM was forced to be the aggressor which was not his natural style. He didn't have a chance no matter what he did. He just didn't have it.

Clearly Casamayor would have won this fight if not for the knockout.
There is really nothing impressive about Marquez. He's weak against opponents with longer reach and knows how to counter. He punches like a girl. Very very weak punch.
I want him to fight Pacman again so he'll end up like Hatton - or worse he'll be on an ambulance after the 3rd round.
Unfortunately he has to fight Floyd w/c clearly clearly he'll get knocked out.

i thought it would be a boring fight having two superior counter punchers but it was entertaining. JJM is great and still has the end of his prime left, but i was suprised how close this was, i think casa in his prime would have won a dec. i would like to c a 3rd pac fight at lightweight

This was a good fight, Casamayor showed signs of slipping previous to this fight where Marquez looked sharp in his earlier fights.. Was a good fight but Marquez has always been the better boxer IMO.
