I love these videos. How about a special request? I want to see a play through with Trident. Beat the game for real, and you can throw in a dark champion fight if you want. But let's see someone destroy the game!!!

@novastepp I'll have to practice for a bit on Trident..as I do suck with him. But Larcen would be easy to do a run through with lol. I planned on redoing the Larcen video completely with absolutely no cheats like my other DC vids.

@novastepp Yeah, but as I have practiced with Larcen - the attacks can be so fast on the opponent that there is no need for such flame attacks lol. It would be a little hard to get used to, but so far I'm doing ok.

@deathdrake1 I definitely understand. He also has the power to make the opponent move in slo-mo and another power that freezes the opponent after contact. I love Trident's arsenal and I love playing with him. Good luck.

The track isn't "My Spirit Will Go On" by Dragonforce, it's "The Haunting" by Kamelot. I like the song better anyways so its cool :P

so.. how do u get this dark champion dude? I played this game through before and had no idea there was a second eternal champion.... is this a seperate game? a code? how do u get to him?

As I posted in another comment a bit below this one: Enable debug mode (google it) and then once you are in the tournament mode, fight someone then at the beginning of the fight, pause then hit: Mode, Mode, Mode then A. The next fight will be the Dark Champion. The non-cheating way is much more fun though.

Make sure you have debug mode on. Pause in a competition fight and press: Mode (x3) + A. The next fight would then be the Dark Champion.

The non-cheating way of getting to the Dark Champion is alot more fun.

There are many different versions of the Eternal Champions game and this is the "Challenge from the Darkside" version for Sega CD.

I hated the dark Champion. The only two people I can pull out the win with were Blade and Dawson. I throw power combos like mad with those two so that was really beneficial for me thank god. Larcen is one of my betters but I can never pull the win against the dark champ with him. Kudos to you for that.

Something interesting to note about the Sega CD ISOs and roms: You can replace music tracks already in the folder with the ISO by simply renaming an MP3 the same name as the music track. Not that this is useful information but its pretty cool none the less. Oh and btw Kega Fusion emulator has an AVI recorder built in and a special codec for it as well. Unfortunately it needs to be convered to another format before it can be uploaded onto youtube.

Trident was the only fighter I managed to beat both Eternal Champions games with, too. He was quite the cheesemaster, wasn't he? :-)

The first Eternal Champions game was considerably easier to beat, with no Dark Champion and only four forms for the Eternal Champion. But in Challenge From the Dark Side, and beating both Champions eight times each, Trident's cheese factor was absolutely vital to victory. If anyone on Earth ever beat the game with Raven or Ramses III, I salute them.

Actually, ever since the making of this video I've figured out how to use Larcen better than I did on this video..more combos, etc..when I made this video I was truely just using combos I used on the original Eternal Champions..not combos on Challenge from the Darkside lol.

I used some cheats at those two points because the Dark Champion was cheating >.>;

I mainly used the cheats because it was late, I was tired and really didn't want to redo the level =D
