85% collge players who get drafted into the NFL most likely won't be 1st string, it was his first season so give him a break. Joe Montana was like the 16th round pick and he is going down in History. Partly because running in the NFL is exponentially more dangerous for a qb than running in college. Neither Brady nor Manning was worth a damn in college. Brady was a nobody at Michigan and Manning was couldn't keep Tennessee from getting their guts stomped out by any decent team. The pro game is make a checkdown, take a five step drop, and throw it. The college game is fundamentally different.

Harrell has a better arm,mobility,and everthing than brennan.Brennans longest run last years was 12 yards againest some crap team I don't even know and harrells lonest run last year was 11 yards for a touchdown againest oklahoma and it was a upset.Dont even get me started with harrels passing ability.If harrel wasin the wac he would have over 50 yard runs and pass for like 6000 yards in a season.

as for the whole system thing, aren't all quarterbacks system quarterbacks? they all have a certain system set by the coach that they try to run. sure harrell passes alot so it kind of pads his stats, but it WORKS. if he's a system quarterback because he throws every down, then darren mcfadden is a system running back becaus he runs the ball every down.

Colt brennan beats teams in the WAC and they play two D-IAA teams each year. Look who tech has to play OSU, Oklahoma, Texas A&M. In the draft everytime there is a texas tech qb he gets drafted in like the fifth round. Hawaii QB's don't even get drafted because they play the equivalent of d-II schools.
