  • So proud of you Alexander! Stand up for what is right!

  • Here's an updated Fox News report about DADT (compared to your late Oct. 15th one)

    watch?v=_Qke0NOLFok&feature=channel

Get back to me on that

  • AFFIRMATIVE ACTION DISCRIMINATES AGAINST PEOPLE WHO HAVE CRITCALLY NEEDED SKILLS, TOO, AND YET THE PRESIDENT SUPPORTS AFFIRMATIVE ACTION...WHICH IS QUOTA BASED. I HAVE CRITCAL SKILLS AND IM HIGHLY EDUCATED. I HAVE A BA DEGREE IN COMPUTER GRAPHICS AND YET BECUASE iM WHITE, IM DENIED EMPLOYMENT IN THE CIVILIAN WORLD BECAUSE EMPLOYERS ARE SEEKING OUT MINORITIES AND WOMEN JUST TO FILL A GOVERNMENT MANDATED QUOTA, SO GAYS, JOIN THE CLUB.

  • @3dartistguy I could care less about what goes on in your personal life, which has nothing to do with DADT. Regardless of skin colors, Gays are being kicked out discriminately.

  • And people are being discriminated because they are white as well, asshole. Employers are required by the Federal Government to seek out minorities and women, regardles of their qualifiations, over qualied white males. Its not just gays that are being kicked out for being gay, as I have repeatedly said, the military has been downsizing for years, and good qualiifed people are being kicked out even though they are not gay...it matters not, but yes, that is still a reason, a good one.

  • @3dartistguy Answer me this: Aren't there Heterosexuals in the military that know who exactly are Bisexuals and Homosexuals?

  • I have no idea, i know they were wrong about me, assuming I was gay when Im not. Im just glad that even if there were homosexuals in the military when I was in that I didn't know about it because I would have felt very uncomfortable knowing there might be someone who was attracted to me who was the same sex I am dressing and undressing and showering with in the same berthings. That is how most servicemembers feel, like it or not.

  • @3dartistguy Many in the military from where I was stationed at knew who were the ones who are Homosexuals & Bisexuals. But it was no big deal. Especially this one girl who is so butch, there was no mistaking that one. So tell me, if you saw this same girl, do you honestly think she's no gay?

  • Maybe in the Navy its different, beause my LPO, Leading Petty Officer accused me of being gay, ruined my reputation on my ship, and when my shipmates heard from him they believed me to gay, they didn't want to be my friend any more. and the more I protested not being gay, the more they believed i was gay, even though i am not. Again, I still have old shipmates who won't associate with me on facebook becuase they believe me to be gay, so dispite your misconceptions, it still is a big deal.

  • @3dartistguy Well, I know of many Naval personnel that are okay with serving with openly Homosexual Veterans.

  • I don't know who because they TORTURED and CRUCIFED me when I was in a couple of years ago for believing that I was gay even though I was not. You saw my video, those are three typical sailors who oppose repeal.

  • @3dartistguy Well why didn't you turn them in? Why didn't you follow the UCMJ?

  • Because I didn't want to cause trouble. We didn't have a chief in our shop and we didn't want one. If I had complained, they would have either removed me or put a chief down in the print shop with us, and everyone would have blamed me, or my LPO would have gone to mass and gotten kicked out and again, everyone would have blamed me...I kept my mouth shut and I still got screwed in the end.

  • @3dartistguy There, now you know how it feels with Gays in the military with DADT in place. Karma sucks doesn't it? Don't worry repeal will be inevitable and you will not be made fun of anymore for being supposedly Gay.

  • But while I'm waiting for your answer, I'll go ahead and put this up from the Chicago Sun Times dated Nov. 27, 2010:

"Most of those serving in America's armed forces have no strong objections to repealing the "don't ask, don't tell" law, according to a Pentagon survey of 400,000 active duty and reservists that is scheduled for release Tuesday....The survey of active-duty and reserve troops found that more than 70 percent of respondents said the effect of lifting the ban would be positive"

  • Besides if Military generals and admirals aren't free to go against what the Commander-in-Chief says, then why do I see only one Marine General against the Repeal of DADT, and yet he doesn't get kicked out? It seems Admiral Mike Mullen, Secretary Robert Gates, Retrired General Colin Powell, Retired General Shalikashvili, and General David Petraeus do have the freedom to speak their mind. So they spoke for the repeal of DADT.

  • I HOPE IT NEVER HAPPENS. NO ONE WANTS TO KNOW THAT SOMEONE IS GAY. IF YOU WANT TO BE GAY, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT! ITS THAT SIMPLE. NO ONE HAS TO KNOW YOUR PRIVATE BUSINESS. IT IS BETTER TO BE SILENT AND THOUGHT THE FOOL THAN TO OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND REMOVE ALL DOUBOT. THE MILITARY IS NOT AN ENVIRONMENT THAT IS APPROPIPATE FOR OPEN HOMOOSEXUALS. ITS THAT SIMPLE. YOU WANT TO BE GAY, FINE, BUT THAT DOESN'T GIVE YOU A RIGHT TO TELL EVERYONE WHEN NO ONE WANTS TO KNOW.

  • @3dartistguy Well according to leaked reports of the Pentagon research, it seems' you're wrong. About 70 percent of active duty members don't mind serving with openly Gay servicemembers. So how about that one for ya huh?

  • thats BS dude. I was in one of the those feedback input forums back last spring and NO one in the military expressed any support of repealing Don';t Ask, Don't Tell, which is reflective of the poll the Military Times conducted which reflected that over 50 percent of active duty members didn't want to serve with openly gay servicememebers...and that it shouldnt be repealed. I don't know where you're getting your information, but its probably just hopefull thinking on your part.

  • @3dartistguy said, ". I was in one of the those feedback input forums back last spring and NO one in the military expressed any support of repealing Don';t Ask, Don't Tell"

Well so did I, and you're wrong in saying "NO one in the military" because just watch this military member said in this video: watch?v=2wAw6F3is40

So you can't say, "NO one" because then you're flat out lying.

  • Yes, I can say no one because I was in the meeting and no one expressed any support at ending the policy. People were crying and screaming at a four star general and even yelling expressing violent opposition at ending this policy. Every one applauded ast the prospect of not ending this policy. You obviously were not at the same meeting I attended.

  • @3dartistguy Funny, I was in a meeting too, and found this report with cohorts: 73 percent of military personnel are comfortable with lesbians and gays (Zogby International, 2006).

A recent article in Joint Force Quarterly concludes, “after a careful examination, there is no scientific evidence to support the claim that unit cohesion will be negatively affected if homosexuals serve openly.”

  • That was done by a pro-gay liberal who obviously doesn';t hae much contact with actual active duty troops...and again, i live in a very heavilly military area and have heard not one sailor, marine, airman or soldier say voice their support of repeal....they all have vigorously and violently opposed repeal which again reflects the accurate poll conducted by the military times which saidj that active duty troops do not repeal of this policy and neither does congress for that matter.

  • @3dartistguy Prove to me how Zogby polling is "pro-gay liberal" But if you want to play that silly game then read this from conservative foxnews . com opinion poll with headlined "IS IT TIME TO REPEAL DON'T ASK DON'T TELL?" dated May 25, 2010 which says that 76.84% of fox news viewers says it's time to repeal DADT. How about that? Let's see your excuse this time...

  • They're not in the military. They haven't polled a anyone who is actually in the military. I was talking with active duty servicemembers last night in a ba a combination of Marins, Sailors, Airman and Soldiers and they all expressed vigourous oppisition to repeal because thye don't want to live with no" fagots." end quote. Tht is somehting that is not being reported in the liberal media becuas for some reason you canot say fagot on television because of the stupid political correctness.

  • @3dartistguy Funny. The active duty, Guards, and Reserve servicemembers I spoke with all don't seem to mind serving with an openly Gay servicemembers. Need I mention Secretary of Defense Robert Gates, Commander-in-Chief Barak Obama, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, and the current Commander of US Afghanistan Forces & International Security Assistance Forces General David Petraeus all want the repeal of DADT. So what do you have to say to that?

  • thats funny becuase none of the Marines and Sailors I spoke with in Norfolk vigoursly said to me that they opposed repeal of don';t ask, don't tell, and neither does the Commandant of the Marine Corps, and neither does the CNO or any of the other Joint Chiefs, or Senator John McCain and other members of COngress who are all Christian, and the Navy Operational Support Command, including actual members of the military, not the outsed ones. Cite your proof that Petraus has said he wants repeal.

  • @3dartistguy When throw out comments without providing any form of data facts. Otherwise you're comments are pretty much opinions (and lies) and not factual. So do as I do and provide facts like I did with the Zogby polling of 2006 that shows 76% of veterans don't mind serving with openly Homosexual veterans.

  • Did you also ever stop to consider that maybe the Secretary of Defense and the Chairmen of the Joint Chiefs have to be for the President's policy because of the chain of command structure? They aren't free to say what they really think because Obama is the Commander in Chief and they have to both do and say what he wants or else they will be fired, just like Petraus was for freely expressing his first amendment freedom of speech.

  • @3dartistguy And what of Glenn Beck, who hates the President and yet says he's for Gay Marriage and Gays in the miltiary....

  • Glenn Beck never said he hated the president. He may have said he wishes the president had a different job. I never heard Glenn Beck say he was for gays in the military, again, cite your proof. You seem to have a problem actually citing your claims, don't you? Well, the Military Corps of Chaplains is against repealing DOn't Ask, Don't Tell on moral, religious and ethical grounds. i ssw their letter in the military times opposing repeal of any kind when DADT works and has worked for everyone.

  • @3dartistguy Oh I think it's you who has a problem citing your claims. Tell you what why don't you start doing that and I'll follow suit since it was I who have been citing mine to begin with. Deal?

  • i CAN CITE MY PROOF, iVE SEEN NOTHING FROM YOU.

  • @3dartistguy On this Comment board where everyone can see...???...I don't think so

  • you've got my email

  • @3dartistguy Like I said, not on this comment board where everyone can read and see your citations.

  • good point.

    you had good argument

  • way to go!

"don't ask don't tell" is ridiculous and discriminatory.

  • @40yvan i think goverment belives that 9/11 was planned by gays

  • CUTE!

  • That's some bull crap. They shouldn't kick you for being gay. these rules suck

  • I think it's completely irresponsible to kick someone, who's highly educated, out of the military just because he/she is gay. They are just as much american as straight people and if they want to fight for this country they should be allowed to.

  • I don't know if you're still checking these comments, but I want to commend you for standing up and being heard about this issue. I can't think of any compelling logic behind the 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' policy except fear, and even that's a stretch because policymakers don't serve; what could they be afraid of personally? Anyway, I thank you for your service and for being willing to take on 'the establishment,' as it were, about this absurd policy, which, by the way, imperils American security.

  • @abbanwato

im in the army and can safely say that if dont ask dont tell was repealed, gays would not be safe in the army. Maybe they wont get raped or have their faces beat in on a daily basis, but i guarantee they will hate life. When a soldier hates the army, hes not going to be at the top of his game, and other soldiers will die. I also dont think they should get discharged for being gay, but they should at least be sent to a different unit to protect themselves from harassment or worse.

  • Congratulations. Straight Pride is every other day in the year.

  • U = <3

  • this policy should have been repealed years ago! it is so true that the military is losing essential translators all because they are gay. and straight men and women can serve together without a problem? america is one of the only countries that doesn't allow open gays to serve in the military.

o and i also agree with the below poster on "a man loves a woman and if the man likes men then so be it if people deny gay marriage and such its the same as denying normal marriage." Marriage = <3 + <3

  • well i understand the openly gay thing seeing as how the punishment in other countries is alot different than in ours. but if your not all out in it u shouldnt have to worry about anything...but my own opinion on homosexuality is that its mainly love..a man loves a woman and if the man likes men then so be it if people deny gay marriage and such its the same as denying normal marriage..but yea anyways i also am a fellow H.I.C. = )

  • You are so damn FINE. The debate question was well crafted too, kinda like you are.

  • yeah!!! good question

  • PLEASE ask this question at the debate. This is an issue that is never going away and it is about time we face the issue and talk about. The poise and delivery of this very articulate man is to be commended.

  • Please show this during the CNN debate.
