  • who is that girl at 6:04 ????

  • @elmasvergas7 She is Kym Jin Sha, I very very love her, Su Su in Shenhua :)

  • China is such a cool place, I loved travelling there and I felt really welcome. Too bad the Chinese government does not welcome a lot of human rights, environmental care, freedom of the mind, pen and tongue, of religion and of the Tibetans. If they would change those things, China will legitimately be the true world leader in a few years.

THANK YOU FOR THE UPLOAD. Xie xie <3

  • @MiCkYfWeAkNlUvR it shud be "wo hen xihuan zhe shou ge" :)

  • diese video ist so geil mann

  • 我不是人。

  • genuinely makes my blood boil to see the Taiwanese artists selling out, even Singapore artists!!! Disgusting. Sure they're preaching friendliness for a country with no basic human rights and a completely corrupt legal system and shoot snippets of stereotypical oriental scenery to represent what 5000 years of tradition, empire, originality, invention, has achieved?? Even the Chinese themselves should be ashamed.

  • @blueyfree

Just get the fuck off this video. You obviously don't like China at all,if you can't even recognise it's good points.

  • ~CHINA FTW~

  • Kym Jin Sha :X

  • I'm a 15 year old and i went to Beijing last year for 40 days. It's an amazing place, and this song really makes me very nostalgic :x I swear i'll go back there one day :/ hopefully.

  • @1234guitarist it's a great place very different to the UK and USA the Chinese act like paparazzi when they see people from the west, however you will go close to starving, the food there is extremely repetitive and not very nice unless you go to mcdonalds everyday! :P I hope there is less smog in Beijing (if you are going there) for when I went it was hard to see buildings across the roads! Go to as many landmarks as you can coz they're worth it, especially the great wall and the Olympic park

  • Hen hao Beijing, great song

  • Who's the little girl singer at 0:13? please tell me :(

  • @HollaaAtYourGirl

    Chen Tien Jia

  • @LucifersSweetAngel Thank you so much!!

  • @HollaaAtYourGirl

    No problem :)

  • I love every part of this video and it makes me so excited for going to Beijing during the July. Hurry up summer and just come already !! :D

  • Han Geng :)

  • i bet not that many 12 year olds know every word to this song...

  • Just wanna say that this is a song made by the state, and as the Olympics 2008 had many bad consequences for so many citizens in China and for sure still has, I regard this song as negative. Better don't play this song as a foreigner to respect your own freedom of knowledge, meanwhile find some other Chinese songs made by citizens, not the regime who used it to fool its people and some international committees.

  • @Elwink funnily enough, alot of people tend to make a perfectly normal song/event, namely the olympics, into a political fiasco. it's weird, because it's about sports and yet all that western media reports on are the olympics is tibet and china's human rights record. can't they report that somewhere else? or is this just pure racism? just cos china's on the rise, they need to slow them down? i don't understand. o.o

  • @senbonzakura1992 I agree, there will always be double standards, but let me also remind you that it's not just about sports at all, the government here just uses sport for their own good, and many of their citizens are the victim. The olympics was a fiasco, except the sport highlights. It depends where you look at. It would be weird if besides the sporting highlights, the countries with objective information would suddenly stop reporting on other things. Positive and negative.

  • @Elwink ok sure this could be used as a part of the government's "propaganda" program, but is it wrong to invoke nationalism in your own country, sponsored by your own government? besides the olympics have both great social and economical impacts on any hosting country, not specifically china. every government is determined to make themselves look good i dont see why when it comes to the chinese theres suddenly a problem there were plenty of economic benefits for the chinese people as a result.

  • @senbonzakura1992 you're assuming that it has had a positive influence overall, I'm suggesting the opposite from what I've heard, read, followed and seen; before, while and after the games. Even many Chinese intellectuals who are constantly being silenced, jailed and tortured have criticized many factors around the olympics and even more so afterwards. My country Holland chose not to try to go for Olympics because they found it being non-beneficial. Don't assume it's beneficial overall.

  • @Elwink it's not an assumption, i was there personally during the olympics and it have a beneficial impact on china both economically and socially. i think you have been very misled by what certain western media has been reporting on china. but then again, you can't make everyone happy and i think everyone is entitled to their opinion. i just thought making something like the olympics into a political headline is inappropriate and an immature attempt to degrade a rising china.

  • @senbonzakura1992 yes it's the common problem in discussions about this. But thinking you can just have a view on the impact of the olympics by visiting it is outrageous. You cannot see anything negative in Beijing if you just follow common paths, it's impossible. I can see from your view on western media that you and I are miles apart. I have Chinese friends and they are now kicking themselves for never having been able to look further than their educated perspective. But it costs too much time

  • @Elwink look i'm not saying that there aren't any issues within china, but the hypocracy of some western media is so great that one can not help but notice them. take the most obvious example by far, the NATO "humanitarian" intervention in libya. do you really think that whatever the western media broadcasts is the real truth? i'm not against western media, i just think that it is important to know both sides of the story before ANYONE makes any judgements on any particular country.

  • @senbonzakura1992 That's on of the common arguments yes, but I have studied so many articles and news items from BBC, CNN, local media, I can confidently say that they report two sides of the story and haven't judged in their reporting like they could. They really let the viewer judge, resulting in many different opinions. BBC, CNN and many others are being criticized by certain people, even in the West, but without good arguments. I've screened it and have been happy with their open reporting.

  • @senbonzakura1992 are they perfect? Far from. Do they have by far the highest standard of journalism in the world? Yes. The majority of Western people wouldn't except it if they were not so objective in reporting. I know there are so many people who say the West this, the West that, and I love criticism because it leads to improvement. But I'm waiting for good arguments, not assumptions. Libya is a bad example because the media has done so well, they're reporting truth? They report two sides.

  • @senbonzakura1992 to show what I mean, how the human mind can be so easily influenced, you won't notice it yourself until many different repeated influences. That's where I leave it now... gotta sleep, 2pm in beautiful China!

  • @MadorinChan the person at 3:30 is a girl.. just sayin' :P

  • @jessiicazzz there's also Eason Chan who sings mainly in Cantonese!
