then her heart is switched with sora, and she loses soras

then sora gives her her heart back, and sora gets roxas

The island scene was definitely one of the trippiest there ever was in any KH D: I didn't even realize it was part of Riku's CoM scenes in CO's DI room until I watched the Re:CoM one again xD But I think the real question is, why is Roxas seeing part of -Riku's- memory? Or was that Xion? Either way, I'm not sure how they saw Riku's memory.

@MooglePlushie It wasn't a cutscene, but story dialogue when Riku encounters Zexion in his DI room. That's probably why it didn't strike me as Riku's CO memory until I played up to that point in Re: CoM.

@HikaruIrving that scene confused me the first time i saw it. But basically Xion is a puppet that takes on different forms based on memories. So Roxas saw Xion, ran over, flashback/mindfuck, and same thing happens to Xion. Xion then takes the form of sora due to her made from his memories. But yeah I don't get where the riku part comes in o_o , well we know riku was close by as he takes care of her when she passes out and it shows roxas running away in the distant. (in the cutscene after this)

Did you play CoM? In rikus story, reverse rebirth, he goes to destiny islands and this cutscene plays (well, in non fmv). He is realizing that he destroyed the islands when he became a heartless and accepted the darkness.

the japanese translation is different than the english... it doesnt nessesarily have to be the same as the english words

Listen when they'd translated and dubbed it into english they didn't have to make it word for word like these translations foor various reasons like lip-synching, I mean in japanese when Riku turns into Ansem he says "the power of darkness" and in english he says "I have accepted it"

Riku's head doesn't hurt. If you've ever played kh: chain of memories reverse rebirth which is riku's side you see this cutscene. Zexion likes to play with minds and he does so with riku on destiny islands right before you kick his ass at his own game. So you see riku and zexion talking and that's when zexion starts to mess with riku's head and I bet riku is holding his head like that to try and block out what zexion is saying.

Yes this bit was the strangest part. Im not that sure what is really going on. Riku kinda regrets how he rejected his friends. Just listening to those words hurt him a lot more. We don't know whether Namine plays a part in linking different memories together. But all this seems to be the memories of Xion as she wakes up asking who she really is.
