Great job!!! Keep going!! but I notice something: When you are playing 16th notes, it sounds a bit "robotic". This is because of the quantize function. You should explore vienna strings...!!! For example, violin solo is the most realistic violin I've found. Greetings!!
That's as realistic as you will get with EW, if you used Vienna you may come closer. None the less it was very enjoyable, my favorite still remains conquest. Congrats man.

@filmcomposition I hear ya. I've spent some time wrapping my head around this realm of digital art...here's my 2 cents: Ableton's Live and AVID's Protools...own and use both...that's my bottom line. Neither one is better than the other as a whole...they both do their job. Hit me up on Skype...my background is classical music.
Oh, here's my last cent...LATENCY. That is what slows me down when trying to compose. I can write music but I like to compose on the fly...which is why I own a real piano.
@tawandanebula Not exactly, these are samples, best called ( articulations) there live instruments recorded and able to play on a midi controller much like a keyboard.
I know you've heard a lot of compliments already, but bravo! Bravo, bravo! As a classically trained orchestral violist, I've played and heard a LOT of Baroque music. This is the BEST string emulation I've heard in a long while. I just got ESQL Gold, and this is a great motivation to tinker with it.
mmm Bach.. it´s ok.. hardworking even if it´s a copy it´s bach... you know you should make you own work, too much talent, work hard man, congratulations.
Hi SteveMLloyd, I was wondering - I only write in traditional musical notation (on stave). Does EWQL have this function? I am illiterate when it comes to all these buttons and switches demonstrated in these videos on YOutube. Presently I write orchestral music on Cakewalk but the sound is terrible (MIDI). Also, if my music is already in Cakewalk, can I trasfer it to EWQL if it has a musical notes function? Thanks!
I'm going to subscribe to your channel, this is both a very beautiful music to hear and a vzery instructive material for newbies in music compositions like me.

I hear more Vivaldi/Corelli than Bach, besides Bach wholesale covered Viv back in the day.
and JS got all the credit, until the rediscovery of Vivaldi in the 20th century
will4ward 6 months ago
yes we all rediscovered the 500 times he composed one Concerto.

@Malloyism -painfully true, but what a BEAUTIFUL concerto! -lol .
Hey man I'm listening to Vivaldi's L'estro Armonico - pretty diverse pieces, actually.
I think Viv's main contribution was dynamism and soloistic virtuosity.general ass-kickin' in 18th century.

DjUN5OUND 2 years ago
this is a DSP reverb, that comes directly with EWQL SO, If i have to use aux tracks for a reverb i just use the standerd D-verb which is very low quality but can be fine adjusted to sound a bit better, also putting an eq, and compressor to the D-verb helps the tone a bit, but all in all D-verb sounds terrible if used in solo tracks. If i have to, i make sure i only use D-verb in orchestrations or anything with many tracks to hide the note curve bending.
