Cooles Stück. Alte Musik findet man viel zu wenig auf Spielplänen in Theatern. Die Kirchen sind meistens die einzigen Bühnen für alles was vor dem Barock war.

Glad you like it. Only, it's a new composed piece in a certain style, made for this WEG occassion only. After the first recording of this piece all the musicians looked at eachother with a smile; it sounded just the way it had to be. It was great that the leadplayers, reeds, wind and drums, dared to dress-up in style, I really appreciated this. It was very stupid of the live-tv director that the video images were not shown on the big screens during this part of the show.

Even though it is a "new" composition it is still pretty authentic. I know a group in Germany who plays original medieval music and this is pretty much the style. I think I am addicted to the simple tunes and scales from back then. Monophonical music and no terz but a lot of quintes and quartes - that is the stuff ;-)
