Tim Brooke-Taylor! One of the I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue team!
They (well, mainly the late great Humphrey Lyttelton) made fun of Give Us A Clue regularly on the show, mainly regarding former team captain Lionel Blair where "his live performances were always loudly praised by his team mates. Una Stubbs recalls listening through the dressing room wall as Christopher Biggins and Melvyn Hayes were still gushing ten minutes after Lionel blew them away on tour..."
Top celebrities? Where are they? Vicki Michelle and Ian Lavendar? Oh dear, and eleven years after this sorry re-make was made these "celebrities" are still riding off the back of the programmes that made them famous, even though they finished years ago.
This intro is crap. The 80's version was way better. Yea it was crap, too. But I loved it hehe :-p

For the record....
I met Time Clark at the Comedy Store and he seemed like a genuinely nice bloke. He was also a brilliant compere.
It's interesting how comedians can look like ducks out of water in the wrong formats.
He is def dodgy as a presenter, but at live comedy gigs he's great.
Funny, huh?

Who the hell is Tim Clark? Where's Michael Parkinsoin, Liza Goddard, and Lionel Blair, and the singing titles where they sing the names ?

I was 12/13yrs in 97 but i found this to be good fun to watch when i was not in school. I had no idea of the original though...

Oh My God, they brought it back. The music is bloody awful, what happened to the funkesque 80's theme with the horns?

God, that's painful.
You can tell it was done cheaply, cos the set is tiny and they didn't re-take when he fumbled over his lines.

In 1997, I wouldn't have ssen this because I would be asleep, because I used to work nights.
