@TheDukeMan5221 Some were back in Alpha, some in Beta, but for the most part many were always just there. Also, I recommend downgrading to Beta1.7.3, or 1.5, they were both far superior to the 1.8 + updates.

@TheDukeMan5221 i think what made it better was knowing nothing about the game. it was being amazed how you were clever enough to make the items on your own. you went into the game not knowing what to expect. but when 1.8 came out, everybody KNEW all the new items and things. imagine playing blinded of all you know about the game, your digging a hole, and you come across a ravine. Imagine the amazement you would feel, at such a gorgeous landmark. or, a grassland during sunset, and 2:15 starts...

i remember the days, back in beta 1.6.6, when i first started to play minecraft, i remember playing it during typing class instead of typing, i remeber when 16 cobblestone was a lot. i remember that feeling, the feeling of something, i can't really explain it. i only regret not saving my first world on a flashdrive, for it is lost forever, now, with 1.0.0, the new rotations of the sun and moon, really ruined the old maps, i miss those days, before hunger. i remeber the old sounds, i miss it. :(

I remember my first day with Minecraft...

I frantically switched between the game and Youtube tutorials on how to survive, I had no idea how to craft anything, so I dug. I dug a big dirt hole, and put dirt walls around it. Then I built a very tall dirt tower so I would know where my home was in case I got lost, and then I fell off the tower and died.

Surprisingly enough, those were really good times.

I miss there not being a creative mode, simply spending hours online, making friends.

As I hear this music, I remember one of my first worlds, ''World 3'' (You could not name worlds in Alpha). I remember digging and mining around to find different ores and dungeons while listening to this song. The first days and weeks of playing Minecraft, was the best ones. You never knew what was behind that hill, you never know if a ''Blowing Penis'' ( As I thought Creepers were names) would come and get you.
