i love this match - i was actually the ring announcer, and ive seen it about 15 times in the last 2 years since the wedding, but it still makes me laugh everytime i watch it. I cant understand how anyone can think this is humiliating. Its a great showcase of a style that isnt really around anymore, and a testament to the guys that were in the ring. i think both doug and edd should be proud of this performance. Surely its more him just being a nice guy. Its not like he did it for the money, I know, I paid him. He simply had a gap in his touring with Noah and UK indy dates and thought he'd do a nice thing in his home town. At any level pro wrestling is about entertaining people and he certainly did that. Nothing humiliating about that at all.

Amen Wrestling is just about the money and the big pay. But I'm sure they deserve it wrestlers like Doug. But it about entertaining ppl and that's what these guys did, why? Because these guys love to wrestle !!
