Ive been swotting up on pyroclastic flow.
As I thought its extremely fine dust normally associated with erupting volcanoes.
You never get it in collapsing buildings obviously, but you do get it in explosions.
Simply put a collapsing building doesnt pulverize it fine enough.
People simply dont know about it, apart from the fact it looks pretty weird for a falling building.
