I am a pipesmoker getting into snuffs - a snuff beginner.
Essentially I refuse to stand outside buildings struggling to keep my pipe alight whilst being gaped at by cretins.
Being a hopeless Lakatiavore this post has piqued my interest - are you prepared to divulge the Lat - Jasmine % or do you feel that people really should experiment?
@Karok01 Well at least he smokes a pipe in this effort mate.. the last two offerings from the BBC he didn't - which i thought was wrong... I will go and see the movie and get back to you.. Let me know what you think.. Tim
Good to get the lowdown on dear Watson...I'm probably going to South Africa for work in January.....the snuff will be coming in handy for inflight entertainment....dub
good to see you on d'Tube, T - it's been a while since I've dusted off my copies of SH - I'll give your title a boo 'cause I can't recall it off hand - going to fire up Uncle Tim this eve & watch David Suchet as Poirot in 'Hickory Dickory Dock' - another favourite fictional detective, n'est-ce pas? ; ) an arf for the puppy. best2U, MM
Hi Tim, have you seen that pdf document available via Google re - F&T blends? The Asthoroth you made sounds really good, i'll give that a go! By the way you're very posh - i use my t shirt sleeve to wipe my nose. It's the Barnsley in me.......
interesting video Tim had not thought about taking any snuff recently but received some Tube Rose Sweet Scotch Snuff from America this morning a bit like HDT in constancy. good to see you.
I am going to have to head upstairs now and find the illustration of Milverton in my bookshelf-warping edition of 'The Complete Sherlock Holmes'. It is far too unwieldy to actually read, I just like having it around!
I decided to try some Dr. JR Justice after seeing it in one Paul and your videos. A really lovely snuff. I've been packing it in the ol' hooter like it's going out of style!
Must give this a try. I agree that the latikia can be a bit too much since I can still taste it for a good while after. I do mix a fair few of my snuffs which individually I don't like but put together are really very good.
Love the Sherlock Holmes books aswell, read all of them but do need to re-read a few!
I too, love Sherlock Holmes. I especially loved the rendition by Jeremy Brett on BBC. My favorite of all time, he will always be Sherlock Holmes to me. Though I have watched all the old movies, I have never liked the way Watson was portrayed as a bumbling idiot. Holmes would never have tolerated such a fellow.
ive never had the chance to read the story however ive seen the master blackmailer the jeremy edition and it was just perfect,,i love the latakia in my pipe as well but i still wonder how they do taste in snuff,,will try tht eventually indeed but thanks for the tips mate
i really hope you have a nice and merry Christmas! I smoke a special christmas blend that's made by my local tobacconist and its so great! glad to see you up and running again!
Col, great to hear from you mate.. I saw a german snuff taking competition once on the tele.. They fired the snuff up both nostrels with something that would not been out of place at a seige.. Cheers Tim

What an unusual name for a snuff!
