  • i remember watchin this movie for the first time while i was in the military and i was deployed to baghdad at the time..i gotta say..one of my top 5 movies from al pacino!!!!! fuckin classic :-)

  • It's 1975 not 1976.

  • It's 1975 not 1976.

  • Why the video reporters have those Ghostbuster backpacks? LOL, This movie is GREAT!!

  • John Cazale is my love... let him rest in peace. <3

  • Just great- wakeing up -do a bank job?? why not--

  • God, all the comments I'm reading are about how cute Al Pacino was in the 70's. Did anybody happen to notice, while checking out his face and body, that he's actually a brilliant actor as well? Just thought I'd bring that little detail up. I'm a dude so I can't really judge his cuteness but he is a brilliant actor and this is one of his best performances. Pacino in the 70's is perfect.

  • John Cazale FTW

  • this and Serpico definitely top 5 Al Pacino movies.

  • If i worked in a bank robbed by such a cute and sexy man like Al Pacino, i would give everything up, cooperate to help him escape, run away with him to Algeria and we're gonna live happily ever after. :)):)):)):))

  • Man, I miss that young, intense Pacino!

  • Good job showing us half the movie and practically the ending.

  • I love the scene when he's making his will. The beginning is so hilarious, but they still manage to make it emotional by the end. That's just plain good work on everyone's part. Plus Al Pacino, circa 1970's, is about the cutest thing I've ever seen in my life.

  • Al's voice in the earlier days was the cutest thing. Such a contrast from his gravelly voice now.

  • I saw part of this movie on TV, I wanted to know what it was called and you know what the TV guide said... SCENT OF A WOMAN. It took me a while to finally find out what it was really named.

  • kiss me :*

  • what happened to the movie it was on here

  • love this movie....

  • ohhh man... pacino when he was younger... was very *ahem* attractive.

  • man look at those 70s tv cameras!

  • This is a great movie, really underrated. It has a perfect plot, great characters, huge suspense, all in basically two rooms!

  • if dog day afternoon had come out durin a diff year,al wudve def won the oscar!

  • Yes. One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest was quite a competitor. I always thought Jack Nicholson gave most significant performance of all the time. But now after seeing Al Pacino in this I have to reconsider that.

  • "I'm flying to the tropics, fuck the snow"

  • ...And "Amoreena" by Elton John at the begin is just unique

  • i watched this recently and i think the ending sucks =(. the movie is great but the ending sucks you know what i mean?

  • the night scene when he puts out his fist to the people. thats when i started to understand the 70's

  • the 1st Pacino movie i remember seeing. I was about 13. I think. I havent been the same since. Hehe! He's a beautiful man. xxx

  • cazale is the man

    he banged meryl streep too

    id bang that lady

  • Cazale was mostly stage - did just 5 movies. ALL Oscar Best Pic noms (when good movies had the chance of a nom): The Conversation, Godfather I & II , DDA. And The Deerhunter - execs wanted him fired cos of insurance (he was dying). Streep threatened to quit. They filmed his scenes first. A great actor and by all accounts a lovely bloke too.

  • featuring a car with 30 doors.

  • I didn't even know Sal...had a last name.

    Informative trailer.

Sal Naturale...hmm...now I'll remember that forever.

  • My fav line:

"It says the bank's help up by two homosexuals...I'm not homosexual."

  • they barely mentioned cazale in the trailer.

  • This trailer definately doesnt spoil the movie. If you saw the movie you know what I'm talking about.

  • Great movie! One of Al Pacino's best.

  • i reckon this trailer gives away the whole film

  • The trailer spoils the whole movie.

  • I'm glad I have Netflix! Otherwise, I would have never seen one of Al Pacino's earliest acting performances. If you're a fan of his, you've gotta watch this.

  • I totally agree with you.I think this is one of the best film of all time,awesome,brilliant..and people tend to underrate it,maybe'cause they prefer films like Titanic and Shakespeare in love..bahh!what about Pacino? His acting is simply amazing, supported by a brilliant Cazale:Al was robbed at the oscars again, after Godfather I,II & Serpico!I think it deserved all 7 oscars at all!

  • How is this movie underrated? It got nominated for 7 Academy awards including Best Picture,2 Best Supporting Actor (John Cazale and Chris Sarandon), Best Actor ( Al Pacino), Best Director ( Sidney Lumet), Best Original Screenplay, and Best Editing.

  • Maybe they wanna say that it's not rated as much as it really deserves

  • he should have won an Oscar for his performance cuz he was at his BEST!! Al is simply brilliant.

  • if i remember correctly dog day afternoon came out in 1975 if so the oscar went to jack for his performance in one flew over the coockoo's nest. Jack was better so no al should not have won the oscar however he was still great.........

  • This is the most under rated movie of all time

Al Pacino is amazing in this movie

  • So is John Cazale.

  • @heroesrocks I agree, Sidney Lumet said Al Pacino did some of the best acting ever caought on film in this movie - I think he's right!!!!!!!!! Incredible masterpiece !!!!!

  • One of the best movies ever
