  • Hey, thanks man... I found the solution guide from that site (the written one) but there is a type-o in the algorithm to solve the working edges. Now i can solve the cube!! Thanks again! (Good job btw)

  • woo!

  • hey u must b a good teacher, ure so patient. i commend you for a great job.

  • hey thanks that means a lot

  • Nice quality video... u use handphone to take the video?

  • thanks...not sure if youre being sarcastic or not but thanks : ) nah just had a good mic on the camera plus its like right next to my face so the sound quality=good video quilty=crap

  • yea that was definitely sarcasim! xD, but i actually enjoyed this video this is were i learned my edge pairing from. so thanks :D but that was like 2 months ago Oo

  • haha ok thanks for the feed back : )

  • lol i also had some explodes today in the 40 minuts i had with it xD

  • Dude your video is crappy you can barely see it move

    its all blurry.

if you want to put a video have a real cam corder not some gay shit

  • helped some, but my middles kept not going back right, but for some reason they started so thanks

  • nice it really helped good

  • lol ok no prob : )

  • just solve it like a normal 3x3. if you don't know how go to thrawst's channel and find his 3x3 tutorial

  • when you explained the l and r' are the same

  • wha?

  • i think you explained it wrong i ment

  • the algorithim at 7 minutes and 43 seconds i think you explained it right

  • when i had to fix the the edges on the top for the bar i did what you said and it messed up the centers and when i put it back and fixed the edges it still wasnt fixed what do i do and your video was blirry and i couldnt see what you were doing

  • sorry i don't really understand what you're saying

  • how do u get the last edge on the first side ??? als r good

  • i think the explanation starts around 3:20 somethin heres the alg d R F' U R' F d' you have to line the pair up horizontally.

  • dude ur insane! Can u teach me better? I do not get edge pairing at all?!

  • what do you need help with?

  • I can pair all the edges on one side but no other ones.

  • read the fourth comment above this one that might help.

  • wtf re this notations "l" "r2"? does r2 mean right twice and wat da f#@k is l

  • Go to Dan Brown's Rubik's cube tutorials he has very good explanations.

  • how do you make the 4x4 move better. I just got it and it is very stiff.

  • take it apart carefully lay out the pieces and spray with silocone. you can get it at most hardware stores. also watch thrawst's videos on lubrication.

  • hey are you filipino?

  • uh...yea howd you know?...o profile?

  • yeah i saw the vlog of the filipino anthum and american so i thought you were filipino.......

  • oic cool cool. filipino prd : ) are you?

  • Yes

  • some1 go buy dan brown a 4x4 for gods sake

  • done

  • The poor camera quality counters the good explanations, thus creating a still ineffective tutorial for the most part.

  • i still dont get this! when ever i make one edge another gets mest up! help me out! someone should buy dan brown/pogobat a new 4x4 cube. this shiznit is hard i just got one yesterday...OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! do i need to solve a 2x2 to learn how to do this i learned how to 3x3 from pogobat. THIS IS HARD AS HELLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!PLZ HELPS ME !!!!!!YEA I SAID HELPS.

  • lol ok first pair and edge moove it out of the way and well...just watch the movie it should help. if you be more specific i can help more. i don't really think leaning a 2x2 is neccessary but 3x3 is.

  • this is pretty helpful.. i already mastered a 3x3 and just bought my 4x4yesterday.. im already in the solving part. i got through most of it til solving last phase. i cant quite figure out which phase and with what level (lower case r, is it both or just outer?) sorry. hope you can help

  • i have a nother video its part 3 of solving. it just goes over the algorithems needed for the last part (last layer). the lower case r is the inner "slice" on the right side

    | | | |

    | | | |

    | | | |

    | | | | ^ ^

that row if that helps. hope i could help check out how to solve a 4x4 part three of my videos that might help with the last part : )

  • oh... ok .. now i got it. so Rr is both slices. and same with the others.. kk. ima try it. i'll keep you posted.

really, you've been of great help.. :)

  • i sOLVED IT... thanks...

  • awesome!! way to go! keep it up : ) move to the next cube :)...but i can't help there cause i don't wanna get another right now : )

  • well thanks on ur opinions me gonna get 5x5 hope i can learn how

  • okie dokes have fun with it!

  • thank you i will

  • no problem

  • should i get tis or 5x5 cause me already got cause me already got 3x3

  • i've heard differently. because 5x5 is more like a 3x3...sorta. no experience with it but i've heard it's a tiny bit easier. id still get this though caue it will help with 5x5

  • just the pairing then do the layers. i do first two layers (F2L) and then the top layer. just watch the edge pairing in the video. especially around 4:20s that kinda helps you with not messing up the others

  • hmmm... well it i think i understand. but that doesn't always happen those are just like your edges on the 3x3. you have to fill them in if they aren't already

  • After a while whhen theres only one or two edges left I can solve one, but it screws up one that I did before.

  • o pair them up so that they are alligned horrizontally and do the algorithem (4:22) d R F' U R' F d' That explanation starts at 3:42

  • Ok great videos. But often when pairing edges during the move i mess up a previous edge. What to do.

  • ? what do you mean?

  • lol i got a 6x6 and solved it in 2 mins becuz this vid showed 4x4 and u can get the 4x4 version part dun on it and it finishes the whole cube. yay =P

  • no since i had taken the cube apart to lube it and i accidently popped it within the hour that i got it it was pretty "loosey goosey" (wierdest phrase i've ever used online) and it pops alot so i put it back in. i swear i didn't cheat. and if you read, you would see it in the video

  • how do i do the last pair on the top and bottom it keeps taking my other pair off

  • i'm sorry its hard to understand exactly what you mean but i think all you need to do is line up a(the) pair(s) so they are horizontally aligned. and do the algorithem

d R F' U R' F d' thats around 4:20 if you want to see it in the video and if you need more help just message me or comment me pref. message cause my normal email hasn't been working so i don't kno wwhen people comment here.

  • whered you buy your 4x4?

  • online. sorry it took me so long to respond it usually won't my email has been down for a while.

  • hmm...or not. 1) learn to read captions 2)i didn't put it back together correctly and 3)why would i post a tutorial video if i didn't know how to solve it. and if you're gonna make dumb comments like that then atleast have a video of your own backing it up because now i just think of you as a sissy

  • hi, sorry to bother you again. i`ve got everything done, except for 2 top corner pieces. they are in the correct position, but flipped the wrong way. i`ve looked at loads of different videos, and nobody mentions corner pieces, i`m pulling my hair out. if you could help me it would be much appreciated. thanks

  • lol ok. umm...hmmm if its how i think it is then you just have to do the 3x3 algorithem R U R' U R U2 R' treat it like a 3x3 with the four centers being your center and the edges being the edges. but since you said they'r ein the right place just wrong orientation then its like a 3x3. if that doesn't help go ahead and post another comment or message me

  • me again, sorry i must be really bugging you! i tried what you said but it has`nt worked. have you any more suggestions? i`ve asked thrawst, but hes not got back to me. your video and tutorial is much clearer anyway. thanks

  • sorry it took me so long to get back i was away for the weekend. ok sorry but you'll hvae to remind me your situation or update me on it if its still the same. if you don't feel like doing that click more on the description and click on the speedcubing link. that should help if i don't. if at all possible post a video response showing me whats wrong that will help me understand more if not i'll do my best otherwise.

  • hi again, i`ve got everything done, except 2 top corners. they are in the right place, but flipped the wrong way. i tried flipping them using the method i use for the 3x3 (RI DI R D) repeated until they are flipped. but it ruins my cube! all i want to know is. how do you flip a corner piece without messing the rest of the cube up?

there must be an algorithm for this. it must be easy because nobody bothers to mention it, i really appreciate your videos and your messages. thankyou

  • i'm really really really sorry but the only way i know how to fix that is to mess up the whole cube and sove the last layer. i'll try and post a video showing you what i mean sometime this week. maybe tonight if i have time. but certainly keep checking around there might be someone out there who knows but i'm extremly sorry that person is not me. if you need any more help just tell me. i'm really sorry

  • thats ok. thankyou for your help, you have been very helpful. i will eventually get it done! if you post a video showing how to do the top layer, that would be very much appreciated. if i mess my cube up, i can easily get it back to this stage. i`ve had alot of practice!!!!!!!!! thankyou for your time, i do really appreciate it. p.s my 5x5 came in the post today. i`m not even going to attempt it ....... yet!

  • i might have time to post the video tonight i'll post it as a response to this one...if i can figure it out. glad i could help and good luck with the 5x5 : )

  • cheers, i`ve managed solve the 5x5 already, its so much easier than the 4x4. its more similar to a 3x3. i think its because its an odd number! thanks again. hope to see your video soon.

  • thats awesome. yea i recoreded half of it i'll upload that cause that's the main part i think you need. i made it for the entire step 3 or last layer but my camera went buzerk while recording

  • i`ve now got 4 pairs on the U side and 4 on D side and 1 pair in the middle. ikeep lining the 3 other pairs and it ruins the rest.

  • hmm...ok i think all you need to do is just use the other algorithem i showed to pair the rest...if thats what you're saying. line a pair up horizonally. it doens't matter which face then use the alg. (d R F' U R' F d') that should work if its what your asking. that part is about at the 3:50 mark in my video. if you need more help feel free to message or leave another comment

  • hi, i`m really stuck! i`ve done the centres, which are definatly right. then i start pairing the edges. i`ve got 4 pairs on D side and 3 pairs on U side then when i line the middle centres and do Li Ui L it all goes wrong. any advice would be appreciated. your video has helped alot but its a bit to quick for me. i`m on the verge of a breakdown.

  • o and sorry if you can't see this one i've been really busy lately so i'll try and make a new one soon. hopefully this weeked or something.

  • thank you!!!! i now make a lot of money betting people if i can solve the 4x4 cube!!

  • lol awesome. i do that to sometimes. hehe. do you still need help with the L'U'L?

  • how do you do the 4th pair, the LiUiL algorithem replaces one of the matched edges...

  • have either one of the mixed up edges infront or facing you. then do the alg. (Uu)2 (Ll)2 U2 l2 U2 (Ll)2 (Uu)2 that should do it.

  • again really really really sorry for the quaility people. hang in there i'll make a new one asap. schools just been dragging me down.

  • help, i solved the cube as far as i could, but two edges are switched on the pll!

  • either message me with the problem in a little more detail or comment. either way i'll be glad to help.

  • Kick Ass video man. I just watched this video and learned how to do the cube. Thanks.

  • you didnt show what to do when theyre horizontal

  • you turn them so that they match and then do the L' U' L and make sure that there is an unmatched pair in the back before you do the alg.

  • i cant see anything!!!!!! its a good tutorial but a bad camera!

  • yea ik sry. once i get everything unpacked i'll be able to upload a better video with better quality

  • i got almost all of the edges.but im confused now because i dont know how to solve the rest.can you please help me?

  • hey sry i cant' do it for a while cause i don't have access to a camera and computer cause i'm out of town. so i'll post it next week. sry. i'll do it asap happy it was helpful.

  • FINALLLY

one video that shows how to flip the yellow edges

    THANK YOU!!!
