actually before they made FFXIII, the main character was suppose to be yuna in it instead of lightning...but the viewers wanted to play as a different character, and they got lightning to be the character....so FFXIIII was suppose to be another chapter for FFX, but no the viewers wanted a new FF game.

The story of bth Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 were really well written and carry alot of meaning behind then of how love can last even through death. I am not afraid to admit that I cry everytime I watch this. Its humbling <3

@StormLysaker I agree entirely. TBH, probably half the Final Fantasy games have brought tears to my eyes at some point or another, you'd need to be emotionally deficient for them not to. You spend countless hours with the characters, leading them and making them grow. It's not at all like watching a 2 hour movie where you just stare at a screen. I remember when I first played FF7, and Sephiroth kills Aeris...I just yelled "Dirty BASTARD!" and got all choked up....

@TheOneOfManyMore I know i totally had the same reaction when Sephiroth killed Aeris, I also cried in FF8 When Rinoa went cold after the battle with Edea, when Squall tried to wake her up and nothing happened, FF9 the end when Garnet is watching I want to be your canary and Zidane appears during the play and she thought he was dead, FFX at the end Tidus dissapears, FFX-2 this song, FFXIII Vanille and Fang turn to crystal at the end, FF Tatics Ovelia stabs delita and he stabs her

The best game ever made! I think i got over 240hours of playtime on my main save. I sold my ps2 and the game since then, but im seariously considering buying one just to play FFX again.

I just read about it on the internet awhile back. I didn't know it was an actually species before. I always thought it was some kind of tribe name, but it's a lot more than just that.

I don't think I've ever cried so hard for a videogame ending, let alone a movie , as hard as I did for the end of FFX. Yeah, I'm a chick and I don't care but no one can tell me that the ending to FFX didn't get to you! I remember when I finally got to play FFX-2, the whole time I was playing it I was rooting for her to find a way to get Tidus back. May not have been as great as FFX but I still loved it. And for a song off of a videogame, it's powerful. Great memories. Thank you Square Enix :D

However, as I watched the ending of FFX, I was running for the tissue box although I already knew what would happen. Then the concert scene in FFX-2 almost drove me to tears. I still almost burst into tears when I watch the scene. The song and story do present good messages.

@Leilynn88 the story line of a white mage summoner girl in love with a dream that vanished, and then later in x-2 finding a clue that might lead her to him & gaining the strength to become a gun fighter, desperately looking for someone she's lost was endearing and beautiful. it was pure feminism w/o the male bashing. she didnt just love him, she admired his strength and emulated it. its as if she wanted his respect when she finally found him. by the end i felt like i got to 100% FOR yuna.
