  • I'm so sorry that you had to go through that, you are such an amazing person. God bless you and your family, I love your videos [: Olivia is such as sweetie.

  • I had an HSG too and it hurt SO bad too, but both of my tubes are blocked. I agree with you that Drs many times misdiagnose and we really do need to tke charge of our health because they usually treat symptoms and not causes plus they throw everyone with "similar" smptoms into one group like they did with you telling you it was cysts. Congrats on your recent IVF and you guys are awesome!

  • thanks for sharing, I find your story amazing, Im glad you both have overcame this and had olivia and also the recent pregnancy!!!

  • It took forever for drs to diagnose my issues. I started my period at 7 years old and had the issues from then I have ALWAYS had horrible pain. But of course drs will always say pain is not a symptom of pcos. I know so many that have gone through the same. Every time i have gone to the ER too they brush off my pain and just give pain meds. I REFUSE to rely on it. Plz I do everything naturally. Many Dr know NOTHING bout PCOS to this day.

  • i like how in this video you have no hair then the next one you do lol

  • Message me anytime if you want to chat about it!

  • I love it when people open up and tell private stories like this. You guys are a great couple, I'm sorry with your struggles.. and I really hope it gets happier after you do get that surgery. Nobody should live off medications if they can prevent it, medications like those are probably awful. Best wishes to you two. :)

  • That was just an amazing story. You sure have been through a lot. And I thank you for sharing this story with us. I realize it's very personal but I feel like I learned a lot of important information from this.

  • F'ing doctors.

  • Thank you for sharing your story with us. You are both brave and true and special. Your little ones are so blessed to have you two for parents. I know there are many couples that go thru this type of night mare unfortunately, including my husband and myself, but im so grateful for wonderful doctors and nurses who do take good care of us! I'm waiting for hysterectomy surgery right now, sadly no more little ones for me, but I am still so blessed!! Hugs and support for you.

  • crappy doctors! i'm glad theres IVR for you!

  • sorry about what you went through and the paın you are goıng through. dıd you have your baby vagınally? how was that? sometımes some vagınal paıns go away after delıverıng a baby. for example, I was told I had pcos. (ı dont belıeve ıt , sınce I conceıved ın three months) anyway.. ı had some paın before and ıt was never dıagoned accurately just I was told that I may have pcos. anyway. my paıns are almost free now sınce delıverıng vagınally.

  • @dear gunesgun , I have never heard of vaginal pain related to pcos I have had pcos nearly 16 yrs and now days it is much easier to diagnose and trust me if you have pcos doctors will figure it out pretty fast ;)

  • Wow, sorry to hear about all UR issues. I'm glad U saw the Dr that found UR appendicitis though. It's amazing how so many Dr's ignore what their pt's say & just diagnose them as being head cases for complaining of pain. Thank goodness for IVF & it's good that U easily respond to is so quickly & fall pregnant. Hope U R able to have all the family U want. Olivia is adorable, may U have at least a couple more just like her!

  • Erica, When you smile, your whole face smiles. That's nice to see :)

  • Erica, I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that!! Sadly, I have a friend who I'm pretty sure went to the same OB/GYN through the HFH system. I won't say her name but it's probably the same! IVF isn't an option for them and sadly she'll probably never be able to have children. Good health care around this area (SE Michigan) is hard to find, believe me I know!!

  • (HSG)

  • What a story. I'm sorry you had to go through al of that. Thank God for IVF! I go to the WI too here in Charlotte. I love the doctors over there!

  • awww im so sorry what u went through..im really sorry..ur really one strong person erica!!!! i love you guys many hugs xoxooxoxooxox

  • Ps I never bother going in with pain now as its pointless... I only have j because I had laser surgery on ovaries

  • Pcos is also what I suffer from too hun... Will msg u on fb about symptoms but I have been through similar to you and I am still in a lit of pain all the time. I have also been strangely taken in for suspected eptopic a few times too... But its always been unknown reason for pain, possible endometriosis and cysts

  • I had that procedure its called a lap dye and hysteroscopy

  • Wow, sorry you went through all that. Sometimes I wonder how some people even became doctors. At least you are having children though! :) Thats what matters the most.Right now I am dealing with doctors telling me I'm fine, nothing to worry about, etc. etc. when I'm not having regular periods & not conceiving. Its very frustrating feeling like there is no help for you.

  • Maybe endometriosis?

  • Dang .....

  • Oh man, that makes me want to punch a doctor in the face!!! Erica, you are one tough lady! Hats off!!!

  • I meant Bad Doctors!!

  • Why are there sooo many Doctors out there. My doctor told me clear as day that I should be able to deliver naturally. I never dialated and ended up having a C-Section because of a tilted uterous and heart shaped pelvis!!!

  • @ThaOneThaOnlee Bad Doctors*

  • Wow sorry you all went through that. I lost one tube & had one left that was covered in scar tissue. I do have 2 miracle babies, but it was years to make it happen. I am so happy that you are able to have another successful IVF. Your prayers were answered!! xo

  • Oh Erica!! BIG HUG! And Devin too! Thank goodness for IVF!

  • Wow. Sorry to hear all this! =\

  • All these!!

  • Wow. Sorry to hear a

  • I just finished watching your vid.. like to to the end.. My last comment was at the beginning. But, you and I are almost the same in past and present. My story differs only in the way that my doc had forgotten the placenta after my daughter. I now have cysts all the time and a polyp I need removed this Dec 23ed. Im not sure now if I will even be able to try our IVF. But I will never lose hope. :) Best wishes to you in all this. Thanks 4 Posting

  • I like how light hearted you are all about it. you can tell there is some heard feelings about the situation but you 2 deal with it SO well. You are truly an inspiration!

  • I'm so sorry to hear about your pain and the craptastic doctors you've seen! Some doctors just don't care, I've seen my fair share of them. I hope that when you're done having kids you can have your hysterectomy without issue (I'm still trying to convince my dr to give me one, not going well). It's unfortunate that this is how things have gone. I hope you have a dr now who pays attention to everything and anything you bring up.

  • :) Just sub'ed :) Best of luck to you, and sending you tons of Baby dust! Were just starting our IVF and out there looking for support Thanks for posting :).

    Rae

  • I love you !!!!! I am so glad that threw all the crap you have gone through that you have sweet Olivia .. shes a miracle girl .. and so is this new babes .. I love you tons .. xoxo

  • you guys are awesome

  • I had endometriosis & was told I could never have children... I put up w/ the pain for years & now have 2 beautiful children! I recently had a cyst rupture which burst a blood vessel & I almost bleed out due to misdiagnosis... I had a full hysterectomy & feel great now! Good Luck w/ everything!

  • Wow, girl. My mama had me at age 42 and right after I was born became very sick! She was in bed during the duration of my 1st and 2nd year of life; this was due to a terrible doctor (who now has he license taken away) who misdiagnosed her and was giving her male hormones as treatment. He actually said to her "oh, I forgot you at a uterus hahaha!" WTF? I'm so glad I don't remember that time, but she now has to be on medication for the rest of her life. She is everything to me!

  • Wow, Erica.. you sure do have a story and let me say that you are so strong! Thank you for sharing this!

  • Unbelievable! I am so sorry you were treated so horribly. Thank God for IVF and for your body responding so well to it!! All the best with this pregnancy!

  • I'm so sorry that happened to you (((hugs))))

  • Wow, thanks for sharing. This video could probably help women out there having similar issues. Good luck in the future! Love the vids :)

  • Erica you are such a brave, brave woman, you are inspiring. So sad this had to happen to the most sweetest couple in the world, but thank god for IVF & REACH cause they gave you the cutest toddler ever :) I can't wait to see your new addition to the family and see Olivia be a big sister :) I wish you all the best :)

  • Thank you for sharing your story. You are both so strong and I can't believe how terribly you were treated! A similar thing happened to my friend when she was 17. But they took one one tube, and one ovary and have told her that getting pregnant will most likely not be an option. All because they called her a hypochondriac when she said she was in pain. They didn't even EXAMINE her until her cysts were so big that she collapsed and was taken to the emergency room.

  • thank you for sharing you story. there are so many other women out there struggling with similar stories that can benefit from hearing this.

  • So sorry to hear your story. Please don't discount all the docs in MI. I have worked with some really good ones. But...there are some real scary ones out there, too, as is everywhere. I've learned that doctors do not know everything. I've learned you need to keep looking and pushing until you get the answers you are looking for. Congratulations and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy!

  • Wow so sorry sweetie...

  • ur so strong

    glad all is well <3

    xxxx

  • Oh my, no words for it.

  • i've been through a lot of medical issues over the past 10 years, and i've come to the conclusion that the emotional pain of hearing "we don't know what's wrong" or "it's just in your head" is far worse than the physical pain of what's afflicting you. So sorry you had to deal with such inadequate, inept doctor's for so long. You're in my prayers and thoughts, and hopefully you can find a cure for the pain that won't require such a drastic decision.

  • ...wow

  • @Aussiegirl265 i Agree the only thing on my mind is Wow... How can some docters let a woman go trough so much pain. Never thinking that a full examination could give some more answers
