Those kind of things always make me nervous lol. I don't like risking things that might damage th game. I heard about a similar trick for FF7 but was too afraid to try it. When I did, the game crashed.

when you get to the last save before ares, you have to put in the ARMAX codes for infinite magic and enable all magic. only those two codes. then use magic like crazy to beat ares quickly. this also works for god mode and all modes. there is also a way to skip stories in this game. first eject the game disc then close back the disc. wait a while then click continue. the storie will be skipped. i discovered this trick months ago on my own.

The very last fight with the sword of the gods is what I am referring to. magic is not available in this fight and the two of your share a life bar like a teeter totter.

action replay max? I just bought code breaker from game stop. I haven't used it yet, so I don't know if it's any good. I'm at the final battle with just the swords on God mode and this guy is killing me within two hits. It's a cheese move where he stuns me with a small blast then he hits me with all of those freaking legs! Thinking about using code breaker to see if I could whoop his ass that way. Any tips on how to fight him?

There might be codes for codebreaker. Unfortunately even an infinite health code won't help for that battle. Since you and Ares have the same life bar neither of you can win with an invincible code. I can't do that part on god mode either.

I DID IT !!! I FREAKING DID IT!!! After a shit load of screaming and swearing for days, I finally beat Ares in God Mode. There's a specific pattern in how to fight Ares. If you break out of that pattern, he'll resort more to magic and cheesing. If you stick to it, you'll be done with him fairly quickly. Granted, I probably wouldn't have made it thru the game without that Madusa, regenerating magic glitch but I'll take the Win anyway! LMAO. I'm no "hardcore" gamer so I can live with it. LOL

lol. I'd use said codes so I could have a go at GoW1 with Bonus Play conditions for once. Perhaps even use them to enable costume usage in God Difficulty. As GoWII has the GK:TM:NUr, I'd want to create a similiar challenge for the first. Not sure which costume I'd go with though. It would be too easy with Dairy Bastard unless magic usage was not allowed..I wouldn't want a strength advantage..basiclaly only downsides are desired for challenge based runs.
