Might also bring up the fines it imposes on individuals as well as employers for not having or not providing health care. If I remember correctly it would fine individuals up to 10% of their gross income if they are uninsured. Businesses would be fined up to 8% of their payroll if they don't provide insurance. So as an individual who makes $25k a year if you are caught without health insurance you would be fined up to $2500 or nearly months and a half worth of income. Who does this help?

and it says the committee will RECOMMEND benefits. in this committee are insurance reps, doctor reps, medicare ect. they recommend what they think to the secretary of human services also page 33 line 1 says PUBLIC INPUT. where the public and vote and express input to the committee. also this committee recieves no additional pay beyond travel expenses. this is just one "bad" part of the bill that they said in this clip like i said just go read it for your self.

Have you even studied what the hell Communism is? There's a gigantic leap from a few socialist policies to Communism. Try Canada or Sweden, or countries of that sort. Canada is a little to the right of center, and Sweden is considerably left. Both of them contain socialist policies and the standard of living in those countries is high. I'm not going to say socialist policies are the be-all end-all, but they do have a positive effect, numbskull.

Might also bring up the fines it imposes on individuals as well as employers for not having or not providing health care. If I remember correctly it would fine individuals up to 10% of their gross income if they are uninsured. Businesses would be fined up to 8% of their payroll if they don't provide insurance. So as an individual who makes $25k a year if you are caught without health insurance you would be fined up to $2500 or nearly months and a half worth of income. Who does this help?

After Obama promises you can keep your old plan, the bill makes it illegal for insurance companies to sell their plan to anyone else! Why should it be illegal to sell health insurance? It's all about self preservation. If they didn't Obama would push for a bill that would eliminate them as well. In that case, even more jobs would be eliminated than the 2-3 million this Bill already will.

Just today, Beck released videos from a Van Jones speech promoting wealth redistribution through phony racial social justince. Also Beck revealed a secret meeting between the Whitehouse, the NEA and many artists / actors. The teleconference was promoting an alliance between artists and the Obama administration. It's called propoganda and it is frightening. Just wake up NOW!

Ok, he says he is for new wealth through entrepreneurship, which is capitalism! Beck selectively edits things out to make his points or to make someone sound like they said something when they didn't. It is editing. Now there is a "secret meeting" of teachers (most I know are republicans by the way)&actors. There are are plenty of actors who are conservatives also.

COME ON!! Obama is the only one being referred to as a God right now. No one gets it right all the time. I will tell you this though, Rush's accuracy rating is many times better than Obama's. Also, Rush and Glenn, and people like me, are just patriots who want to keep this country as free as possible.

jeangrey, go to Cuba where the government controls everything from electricity (only on 1/3 of the day) and toilet paper...they ran out. Our founders fled England which provided just enough crumbs for the people to survive so they might have energy enough to bow to their "Messiah". Noone with any sense trusts Rachel Maddow. Do you know who Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel and Dr. David Blumenthat are? They have both been appointed by Obama as healthcare advisors to his administration. They are in favor of extreme measures to cut healthcare costs, like discriminating against old people and slowing the rate of medical innovation. It's crazy! Medical innovation is a good thing! It saves lives! But it is cheaper for people to die.

I don't care what your stand is on healthcare reform, this video makes me laugh. Soundtrack to the Da Vinci code...lightning sound effects... flashing pictures of pelosi, obama, waxman... then the beginning flash of the hammer and sickle. What are we watching: a professional video about healthcare reform or cheesy low budget horror film that leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
Remember, I'm taking no stance on healthcare. But I say NO TO OVERLY-DRAMATIC VIDEOS! *cue lightning* fade to black.

Ha, wmatsuoka, you are funny. you make a good point about the dramatic affects. I've read past comments, and the producer said they wanted to hold people's attention. If they were to simply do a black and white screen with quotes from the bill, people wouldn't listen. Also, the more you dig into what Obama has done so far, and who has influenced his thinking as he was growing up, books read, etc... the more the U.S. MUST be vigilant. He is a danger to democracy.
