I´ve this performance in TV as part of a anniversary of a English record label. I dont remember what label was, Island or Chrysalis. Mike and the Mechanics were on the bill too. Their album Around the next dream is superb. BB&M were a fantastic trio.
I remember now. It was a Virgin Records anniversary.
@warlordzephyr and of course Clapton wrote crossroads...not...it's a 12 bar blues...played by the people who reinvented it...Gary Moore...is consummate and with that rhythm section...and Jack Bruce's incredible vocal prowess....he shines brilliantly...this is a lot more exciting than the Cream Reunion shows....especially the guitar playing.
@knowvirtuoso How about we stop comparing to Clapton. It's so fucking cliche. Just enjoy the music and remember what a great original and guitarist Gary was!
Excellent performance. I bet the crowd was wetting themselves, I know I would have been! One of my top 5 favourite albums of all time, "Around the next dream"
I think this is fucking GREAT!!!!!!!
