I LOVE Peavey's ability to get a tube sound out of a transistor! I read a thorough explanation of how they do this by Hartley Peavey, and I was amazed. The guy REALLY knows his stuff. The gist of what I read was that he knows exactly what frequencies do what, and that there are actually several factors in a tube amp that generate their famous sound, and the tube isn't all that does it. I always wondered why my little BLAZER 158 sounds so so much better than any other little solid state amp!

This lil amp sounds amazing with joe playing it.. I have one on the way i got used on ebay . I can't wait to try it out.. Also i have a mesa triaxis that i will run as a preamp to get more tonal possabilities yet have a two "y" switch to run other amps ,pedals,or direct drive to this.. I LOVE the power sponge feature.. Most amps are so loud you can never turn them up for practicing without drowning out everything else or disturbing neighbors..

I got the amp today, it really does sound this amazing like the video.. I used my tri-axis and accuverb(tube spring)reverb and it sounds even better, also was able to go from clean to distorted.. The power sponge is so nice.. It sounds so pure and amazing crunch and clean and in between.. Also amazing at any volume..I'ts equal to and in some ways better than my 2/90 mesa boogie.. The simplicity makes the sound righteous.. Other than the lack of reverb i would have to give this a 9.5/10..

Sorry dude, but I'm pretty sure that the people working in overseas factories maufacturing for western musical instruments labels are the ones who are supported the least. Meaning: when you buy an Asian made Marshall or Peavey (who are doing this too, btw; not the JSX series but everything cheaper) or whatever the margins for Peavey, Marshall, Fender & co are even bigger.

=> Buying asian products does not support Asian countries as much as it supports western companies ripping off poor people.
